Someday I will live the life I want...

The problem with someday is that it's never today.

What's wrong with today?

...

"Things are too busy at work"
"The family life is hectic"
"I don't have the money"
"The weather gets me depressed"
"Maybe it's not meant to be for me"

The circumstances that you live in are not the driving factors of your life. They are merely circumstances that can change in a moments notice.

That moment is when a decision is made.

I made this video to inspire you in a way that challenges you.

You see years ago I WAS SO SICK, to the point where the doctors I was dealing with had that look on their face screaming at me with "things are only going to get worse".

I spent many many nights inside hospitals, keeping my parents up all night by my side. Their worry was stronger than mine, it seeped through their pours. They didn't know if their child would ever be the same. Stronger. Alive again.

Yet, even after hours of agonizing pain during those nights in the hospital, I always knew that if I tried hard enough, changed my approaches, adapted to the situations at hand, pushed myself and kept an open mind, that I would get through my sickness and cultivate whatever I wanted to.

My will and my desire were up against the whole world who was in doubt. I had to be strong, not only for myself, but I had to be strong for my family and my friends. My strength had to pierce through the barriers of doubt, which forced me into a ferocious frenzy of self belief.

Little by little, I would get small wins, only to fall back down. Over time though, more and more wins with less and less falls. Every win was celebrated to the moon and back.

Had I allowed my circumstances to shape me, I might still be visiting hospitals with more complications and a fleeting body.

Finally, I want to tie this back into my video...

I recently took a trip to Colombia for 2.5 months and experienced a lifetime of memories (portrayed in the video). I did it all while improving my health and working full time (something that would not have been possible when I was sick).

I knew I wanted to do a trip like this for a long time, so I kept making decision that got me closer to it.
I asked myself "what needs to be in place for me to do this trip?" and I worked backwards from it.

I mapped out everything:

- How my financials need to look
- How much money do I need to have saved
- How healthy do I have to be
- What am I looking to learn when I get there
- What do I want to experience on the trip

Everything had to be in order for me to go. I worked days and nights to make it happen...

Than it did.

It was a wild experience. I pushed myself in ways I hadn't before, physically, mentally and spiritually.

So I want to say this to you. You, reading this and watching this video.

If you are in a place where there is doubt, or you feel suffocated, stressed, agitated and belief is low right now...

I want you to know that I've been there. I know how that feels and even if you, your family and your friends can't cultivate belief for you right now, I want you to know that I fully and whole heartily believe IN YOU.

Whatever challenges you have, whatever you are battling, I believe in you.

No matter how hard things seem right now or how much is on your plate, I believe in you.

You may know me as a friend, as someone you have seen online or you may not know me at all, but through this post we are now connected. I believe in you.

I truly hope that we can keep connecting further. Let this message be only the beginning.

Sincerely,

-Boris

Every small action actually has a BIG impact...

What am I talking about?

I have built up what I call an "upward spiral of momentum" in my life by being purpose...ful in ALL of my daily actions.

This has led me to have a much more healthy and progressive life.

Today I am sharing with you the "ins and outs" of how I figured this out and I even break it down on both a micro and macro level.

Enjoy!

Ever felt like you "lost a battle" with your health progress?

Let me share with you a story that about my younger days (that had a profound effect on how I dea...l with "battles")...

I used to play competitive basketball in high school. It constantly challenged me. I trained hard, went to the gym, practiced lots and watched videos on how to improve my game.

However, as soon as I stepped on the court to play in a match, all of my preparation and practice was put to the real test. You don't have time to think on the court. I would get pushed around, constantly yelled at by my coach, be out of breathe and feel a sense of disappointment.

I felt like I "lost" a lot of battles on the court. I felt my effort with training and practicing was not enough.

The problem wasn't that I lost a battle, the problem was that my expectations did not match my performances sometimes.

My expectation was that because I was putting in consistent effort, the results would show in every game. However, in reality the results showed once I had ENOUGH consistent practice and training to match MY expectations.

... Let's make this connection back to health.

I see a lot of people who set expectations for themselves like this:

"I'm going to drink this green juice everyday for 2 months and than I will be 100% healthier and feel better"

2 months pass and the person feels let's say 17% better. Then they get down on themselves and make a declaration such as "This green stuff is a scam and did nothing for me, screw it i'm going back to my old routine" OR "This did not work so i'm going to try something new for 2 months"

What happened here?

Well this persons expectations of how something will impact their health over a specific period of time did not match the real results. So they got frustrated and gave up or tried something new.

THE kicker.. had this person kept drinking the green juice for 1 year, maybe they would have felt 100% better than. Even if they felt 50% better, it's still great progress.

The body is very complicated and if it needs to heal, it needs to heal. Just because we has humans want it to do so overnight, doesn't mean the body cares about our opinions.

So I've now learned that if I do sound research and commit to something, it really doesn't matter how I think it should play out, it will just happen on the timeline it is suppose it unless I interrupt the process.

Trust that the work you are putting in is paying off (even if it doesn't seem like it is) and you will reap the rewards at some point

Sincerely,

-Boris

Can drinking alcohol be healthy?

I grew up my whole life hearing how alcohol is bad for your health, why you should never drink it and all the negative effects ...it has on your body.

I mean fair enough, at the end of the day it's literally poison to humans.

So therefore it's not healthy right?

I disagree... going against everything I ever believed in, I think drinking alcohol can be very healthy and here is why...

Harsh health problems aside and let's say you are on track with your health, doing good things for your body, treating yourself right and on top of that you are very busy, I think in these scenarios alcohol can help you by providing a bit of uncertainty in your life.

You see when you go out with friends and use alcohol to get you out of "execution mode" and into playful mode, it fulfills one of your human needs of uncertainty. Not knowing where the night will go, letting words flow and allowing a different energy to run through you all leads to reducing cortisol levels.

The uncertainty and lowering of cortisol levels will help you feel alive and invigorated again the next day, which in my case always pushes me to new levels of motivation and happiness.

All of this is coming from someone who decided to stop drinking for a good 3-4 years in my early twenties. So trust me when I say, I was 100% against alcohol consumption and didn't see a fit for it in my life. Now, I feel like it has a purpose and I use it as a tool when I want to.

As my messages always point out, the whole purpose of health and wellness is to compliment your lifestyle and allow you do things like having some drinks if you want to.

Go out and enjoy yourself, I truly hope this message sparks some good discussions in your head in terms of giving you a different perspective on this subject.

Every "30 Day Challenge" Is Absolute Bullsh*t.

Listen, I get the appeal, take 30 days to "build a new habit" and than you are golden.

The truth is, you aren't... "golden" and most of the time ANY 30 day challenge is very restrictive and thus not enjoyable. It's much easier to sell a 30 day quick fix and therefore businesses exploit that.

In this video, I give you a much better alternative So check it out!
