AU seems to have grown totally intolerant of any opinions that may differ from their opinion over the last year/ 18 months. They will delete any contradicting opinion within 24 hours. The only way to c...hange minds is to listen to opinions and discuss it. See More

This is the most important organizati on defending religious freedom in the US. Wonderful to see videos highlighti ng the work of the organizati on.

I 100% agree that we should separate the church and state because it’s creating a lot of war and violence influenced by religion and it was made by the government /politics to create terrorist groups.

I've always liked and admired this page.
I'd like to suggest an unusual idea......
If you are Hypnotist, It is illegal to film or record for a TV audience, the entire "hypnotic induction" of your script. So that none watching unwittingl y succumbs "against their will" into the hypnotic trance state.
I wish to propose that using these laws surroundin g the Art and public use or mis-use of Hypnosis, it would be realistica lly possible to totally shut down TBN(and all such like Christian programmin g companies in the whole nation) for a few days, as they begin pressuring all their preachers to now be able to present "parts" of and edited versions of their "messages" . Never more full sermons anymore.
As all preaching sermons flow no different in linguistic structure to hypnotic inductions and ending with endless post hypnotic suggestion s.
It's big. Bold. And expensive. But can work like a massive game changer. See More

Too many religious Americans see efforts to maintain church/ state separation as anti-relig ion.
But even a casual examinatio n of the history of religion in America will show the opposite....
Considerin g the diversity and freedom of religion in America, that wall of separation is clearly the best thing that ever happened to religion in America, or anywhere else. See More

Its quite simple really, its the law. All the union of church and state would do is "monopoliz e" religious power. This is a religiousl y diverse nation. You can't have religious oppression , and religio...us freedom occur simultaneo usly. Hence why the need for the seperation of church and state was penned to protect religious freedoms, or freewill. Not to be oppressed or discrimina ted against due to religious belief and practices or lack thereof. See More

No sense supporting religion and it's separation , as it is the state to doing away with religion. Keeping an ideal that's a metaphysic al wall that separates either from each other is silly, especially... when that wall gets scaled all the time. Allowing religion to be organized and allot money with members is only time before they start voting and influencin g politics. The same people who wish to uphold this view are just prolonging the inevitable , religion will be crushed and crushed hard. See More

Many special needs families in Forida participat es in Step Up for Students -- Florida's Tax Credit Scholarshi p Program. I am writing to ask you to please drop your lawsuit attempting to shut down this... very important program.
Special needs parents know what it's like to be trapped by where our zip code states which school our child(ren) must attend, please don't make all these families go back to struggling in schools that cannot meet their social, emotional, physical, and educationa l needs.
Their futures are too important, to them, to their parents and families, and to the community that helps encourage and support them.
Over 70,000 special needs, low-income and minority children depend on this scholarshi p. They are thriving in a various educationa l settings that have been chosen by their parents to meet their very varied individual needs, and they should not have Step Up for Students forcibly taken from them, making them go back to school that cannot help them reach their full potential.
Please drop the suit and stop fighting special needs families like ours from getting access to a great education that works for our special kids. See More

You go fight a war and come back, then tell me how you can say an make ignorant comments... from just rdriving through. I find your Facebook offense it public and partially managed by the government . So You people need to get a life!! And pull your head out your ass! See More

You people are a bunch of idiots. Your group sent a letter demanding that West Laurens high school band not play a church song at a high school football game because it violated your first amendment r...ights. So you are going the violate the first amendment right of every one at the game because you are some liberal. You are what is wrong with this country people like you don't have any other purpose in the world other than stick your nose in other people's business if you don't like this country get the hell out. Please mind you own business and leave other people alone. That is the greatest right in this country is the right to be left alone. See More

They have gone from a reasonable , narrow special interest group seeking to prevent government from engaging in religious law, preventing religious bodies from engaging in politics, and promoting equal... rights for all citizens, to a partisan left wing propaganda engine seeking to demonize and belittle the perceived opposition in the interest of promoting "progressi ve" politics. I'm out. See More

Conservative religious groups are attempting to redefine religious freedom to mean the freedom to discriminate against those who don’t share your religious beliefs.
What are we to do about it? Americans United President and CEO Rachel Laser has some thoughts. (via Protect Thy Neighbor)
Religious Right activists never hesitate to judge an LGBTQ person, a political progressive, a feminist or a non-believer. They’re quick to assail anyone who engages in “ungodly” behavior. Yet they say nothing about President Donald J. Trump’s transgressions. David French, a columnist for the National Review, calls this hypocrisy a “sin that is collapsing the Evangelical moral witness.”
