Dear Amnesty International,
I was distressed to hear that Amnesty International, an organization dedicated to the protection of human rights has trampled on the human right to free speech of Jews. B...y withdrawing from the panel discussion on the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement, you have effectively show disdain for the free speech of anyone who doesn’t agree with your point of view, an action that you regularly chastise and demonize repressive governments for. This demonstration of anti-Semitism is despicable and unworthy of an organization that claims a high moral ground. See More

You don't care about human rights for all. You pick and choose. You have become hypocritical anti-Semites. You don't even care about the Palestinians who are forced to live under the repressive and op...pressive leadership of the PA. Not hosting a debate in the UK about their plight and how the UN deals with them shows how little you care. See More

Another anti Semitic organization. Never bothers to research and present the issues and dangers Israelis face from the Palestinians and surrounding Arab countries that would rather see Israel destroye...d than live in peace side by side. Amnesty Int. NEVER reports on the horrors inflicted daily BY Hamas and the PA.... ON its own people in addition to actually publically calling for violence and blood to be spilled by attacking innocent Israelis. Do NOT be fooled by the name of this organization. Amnesty Int. would rather criticize Israel and promote boycotts which ignites more hate and violence against Jews worldwide than promote a balanced dialog and judge all sides with the same standards. What is Amnesty's action to call out Hamas and Abbas who denies basic voting rights since he is now in his 13th year of his elected 4 year term? When an organization that is to uphold moral and ethical standards does so subjectively, they are not worth a damn thing. See More

It is very upsetting, to say the least, when an organization like Amnesty openly takes up the cause of ant-semitism. The oppressor of the Palestinians is the Palestinian Authority, yet you have yet a...dmit that basic truth. Syrian refugees are treated for free in Israeli hospitals, as are Palestinians and Gazans - yet it is a death sentence for a Jew to wander into the PA or Gaza. The PA is a regressive, oppressive, tyranny - no less than is the Syrian government, or that of most every ArabMuslim country you can think of. Yet you target a land of free expression. You are idiots. See More

'Amnesty International is perhaps the most prestigious international non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to furthering human rights. Amnesty’s campaigns and publications are quoted by politi...cal leaders, journalists, diplomats, and academics. Yet, despite Amnesty’s influence, critical analysis of the organization and its activities has been limited. The “halo effect,” which protects groups claiming to promote universal moral agendas and human rights from scrutiny because of its perceived impartiality, has insulated Amnesty from systematic critical assessment and reform, to its own detriment. This monograph details Amnesty’s financial mismanagement; repeated examples of “lawfare”; systematic flaws in the reporting of human rights abuses; limited understanding of armed conflict leading to erroneous claims and incorrect analysis; and violation of the universality of human rights, including a consistent institutionalized bias against Israel through double-standards.'

I think people who decide to stand up for rights attract a lot of bad attention from those who have the money to try to tear them down while having to withstand the silence from those who could do the...ir part to help but are distracted. I admire you so much for your work and the world has much hope going forward because of organizations like you who grow with the might of those who are strong enough. See More

Cancelling debate with Jewish organizations of UK and siding with BDS is not only unjust and plain racist, but it completely erases the legitimacy and creadibility of Amnesty International! You must r...estore free speech and do what you are mandated to do, which is to uphold human rights. Outrageous! See More

Unfortunately Amnesty International has become another worthless organization that started with great intentions. That's what happens when you accept financing from dictators and corrupt corporations... and entities with evil intentions. It's so sad to see how the hunger for money can do this and those that truly suffer are kept silent. See More

Nabeel is on trial simply for tweeting about the war on Yemen and allegations of torture in Jaw prison. His verdict is imminent: 21 February 2018. We must mobilize quickly and effectively, before it is too late.

Act now and stop the Bahraini authorities torturing and ill treating detainees, and harassing and intimidating the brave people that speak out for human rights in Bahrain.

Because Azza Soliman bravely speaks out to defend survivors of abuse in Egypt, she is banned from travel, her assets are frozen, and now faces time in prison.

To imprison an innocent man is injustice. To nearly set him free and lock him up again is cruelty. Tell Turkey that defending human rights is not a crime!

Taner Kılıç was just doing his job, exposing human rights abuses in Turkey as Chair of Amnesty International in that country. But on 9 June 2017, he was thrown into prison on the baseless accusation of being a member of an "armed terrorist organization".

Instead of releasing our Turkey Chair Taner Cilic, as ordered by the Court, a new arrest warrant was issued and late last night he was taken into Gendarmerie custody. We are following the case closely and have people on the ground.

We are Amnesty International UK. We work to protect men, women and children wherever justice, freedom, truth and dignity are denied.
