This election season the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival will be holding Senate Town Halls for several key states to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about their positions on issues such as living wages, union rights, health care for all, and those directly related to the pandemic, including a moratorium on evictions. Each candidate from all major political parties will be invited to speak directly to the issues and priorities of poor and low-income constituents, and will be asked four questions, including two from impacted people. Join our NC Poor People's Campaign : A National Call For Moral Revival family, Tuesday, September 8, at 7:30pm ET, for a virtual Senate Town Hall for North Carolina's candidates to the U.S. Senate. Impacted people will speak about systemic issues facing their state. Both candidates have been invited to respond to voters. Democratic candidate, Cal Cunningham has accepted, and we’re awaiting a response from Republican candidate, Thom Tillis’ campaign. Don’t miss this important Town Hall.
