Check out this youtube documentary made by students at Heritage Woods Secondary School to spread awareness about
an initiative called Move 4 MANA, Most of the student body participated in the project and the impact was huge! They are the first school ever to do anything like this! Next year they plan to challenge several other high schools in the lower mainland. Moving forward we hope that this will spread to schools across Canada.

Anmore Garden Club is holding its annual clothing drive on 07 April to raise money for its greater good activities.

Now is the time to look through your house to start collecting items for the drive. Contact Candice at 604-377-6046 if you would like to drop off items before 07 April. Want to use our free donation bags? Call Candice.

When placing bags at your curb on donation day, put out by by 10:00 a.m..

SOFT ITEMS

- clothing

- accessories: shoes, purses, hats, mittens and scarves

- linens, bedding, towels, blankets

- drapes, table linens, sewing supplies

HOUSEWARES

- sporting gear, toys and games

- small electronics (toasters, radios, blenders, tools etc.)

- small housewares (planter pots, ornaments, vases etc.)

- dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glassware


WE CANNOT TAKE:
Furniture, TVs, computers, baby cribs, baby car seats, swing sets, or any large items that will not fit into our donation bags. No books or magazines, either.

Are we giving away too much personal information that could come back to haunt us when we allow our cameras to GPS tag the locations the photos were taken? The GPS functionality can be disabled.
