- I love to travel. I spent my junior year of high school on a yearlong rotary exchange to the Czech Republic, and went back to visit seven years later. I have traveled all over Europe. I've been on several road trips in the western United States, once from Washington to Mexico. I've ridden the ferry to Victoria B.C. many times. I spent a week in New York and two in Kauai the following year. I also love to paint and draw. I have held three art shows. I have sold about five works, several cards and prints. I also used to drive a 1973 VW transporter which had a rainbow, dragon and lion I painted on it.
I worked as a graphic artist at a print shop in Port Angeles for four years. I continue to do graphics independently to this day. Logo design is my favorite. Before that, I worked as a waitress at Granny’s Café serving up delicious breakfasts, burgers, milkshakes and ice cream to travelers on Highway 101. Most recently, I studied welding metal at Peninsula College. I received four certifications. Then I worked as an assistant to a local recycled metal sculptor for a short time.
I have a miniature Australian shepherd named Quarry and a cat named Rupert. I love hiking and going to parks with my dog, so if anyone knows any good parks or trails let me know!
