Our current economic and political systems are burning through the planet's resources like there is no tomorrow. They are eroding their own foundations and headed toward an ugly crash. In the Baby Boomer generation alone, we have consumed 50% of the planet's non-renewable resources.
I'm doing something about it.
If you look ahead into the future, you could say that any scenario which does not include people learning to harmoniously share the finite resources of this planet, is unpalatable. It involves perpetual war, slavery, and/or extinction. If we harnessed a fraction of the technology, creativity and energy that goes into maintaining the current hamster-wheel economy, we would have the means to coexist in co-creative balance with each other and the rest of the life on this planet.
I've dedicated myself to building the technical infrastructure, memetic patterns(link), organizational models, and human communities for this next era which we must build successfully or perish. I'm a social entrepreneur with my hands full running the for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations that I've started to build all this stuff.
