After six years of grad school, the music gears are starting to turn again. This time I have a producer, and we're going to rework some old songs and hopefully debut some new ones. An album is in the infant stages. Stay tuned.

Hi friends in Statesboro, GA. I will be playing at Roundabout Coffee twice a week between now and the time I move. I have been given a standing invitation to be the house musician.

Roundabout is a new coffee shop located at the intersection of Burkhalter and Pretoria-Rushing, very near the Gentilly Trail head.

People are always asking me multiple times every day, "Arthur, who are the three bands/musicians that form the foundations of your musical consciousness?" Don't question that, they just do, trust me.

The answer to that question is: The Beatles, King's X, and Kevin Moore (Chroma Key, OSI).

And today marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Gretchen Goes to Nebraska, the album that put King's X on the map. It's actually not nearly my favorite King's X album, but as the album that introduced the world to King's X, I have to say it's an important milestone for me. And I'm celebrating that milestone by sharing this video with you. Enjoy.

I hope I never hear somebody say my music is "overrated." That would seriously hurt a guy with 138 fans.
