I’m excited to be returning as an instructor at the Nashville Mandolin Camp in September up in the beautiful speed trap of Ridgetop, TN (just a few minutes north of Nashville).
If you’re curious about attending, I’ll put a link below. Also instructing will be Don Julin, Frank Solivan, and Nate Lee.

I have some spots open on weekdays for FaceTime/Skype lessons, so if you’re interested in learning to play the Mandolin, shoot me a message.
Also, there are still a few slots open for Bluegrass Camp Germany in the beautiful Bavarian Alps in May where I’ll be an instructor along with Greg Cahill, Rick Faris, Phil Leadbetter, and several other great pickers that I don’t have the ability to tag. If you want to spend a weekend in one the most beautiful settings in the world, learning how to pick and jam, shoot me a message as well!

Winding up the inaugural Nashville Vocal Camp today with camper recording sessions. It’s been a great experience so far, so make plans to come and learn next year if you’re so inclined!

Arrived here at the hotel in Norway for Norsk Country Treff! Beautiful here. First time in Norway for me.

The Earls of Leicester are packed up and headed to Auburn, Alabama for Bluegrass on the Plains. See y'all tomorrow!

I'm teaching at Bluegrass Camp Germany this week in the Bavarian Alps, but I'll be back next week for Bluegrass on the Plains in Auburn, AL with The Earls of Leicester, and the next week in Cherokee, NC on Friday with The Crowe Brothers, and Saturday in Galax, VA at Houston Fest with The Earls. Come see me!

Filling in with the Earls of Leicester again this weekend. It's time for the Bluegrass!

Much fun was had last night at the Nashville Flatpicking Camp! I'll be back up there in November for a Bluegrass Vocal Camp. If you like to play or sing and want to visit Nashville, give a visit to their website that I'll link in the comments. Spots fill up fast!
Also, for those of you near North Florida, I'll be performing with The Earls of Leicester this Friday (March 24th) at the Spirit of the Suwannee Spring Reunion Festival. Come see me!

Hey Piedmont-Triad home folks! I'll be picking with The Earls of Leicester in Mt. Airy on February 17th at the Earle Theater (Fitting, right?) and at Duke University on the 18th.
Come see us!

Had a fun show filling in with Sideline tonight in Culver City, CA tonight! We'll be in Alameda tomorrow and many more spots in Cali over the next week and a half. Check out http://www.sidelinebg.com for more info on this killer band!

MASHVILLE BRIGADE reunion show...tonight (Wednesday) at the Station Inn! Doors at 7, show's at 9! We're going to have a blast.

Excited to say that I'll be performing as a part of "The Earls of Leicester" in Denton, NC on 9/16 and Flagstaff, AZ on 9/18. It is such an honor to be given the opportunity to perform with some of my favorite musicians on the planet, and even cooler that I'll be able to do it in my "home town" of Davidson County, NC.
Denton Farm Park was the first "big festival" stage I ever performed on about 20 years ago, so this is going to be extra special. Looking forward to it! Now to go channel Curly Seckler...

Opened the old website back up with an update. More to come!
Hopefully I'll see some of you in Milan, Michigan, Clayton, GA, or at Galax this coming week!

Hello everyone! I had taken this page down and linked my page to my Facebook account for a few years. It seemed easier to update folks that way. But as times change and Facebook changes, I thought it might be fun to crank it back up here again.
