Amazing place to get free blue books. If you want to conserve your 35 cents, then this is a great place to go. Also they haven't told me where UNM is.

Doesn't represent the voice of the student body at all. There is no consideration at all for the safety of students.

Possible UNM Tuition 2017-2018

The UNM Board of Regents will meet on Wednesday to set the budget for the 2017-2018 school year. This includes possible tuition raises that are detailed in the video below.

If you want your voice heard attend the meeting at 1pm in the UNM School of Law's Bratton Hall.

Do you like finance? Do you care about shaping UNM? Have you ever used CAPS or a student advocacy center? Do you want a powerful voice and a vote about how student fees are allocated?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Student Fee Review Board might be for you!

UNM interim president’s desire for education and a better life brought him from Lebanon to NM

ASUNM is incredibly disappointed in the failure of lawmakers to find solvency for the Legislative Lottery Scholarship. In President Brooks' open letter, he proposed an extension to the Liquor Excise Tax that would have kept the scholarship solvent in the coming years and protected students during the efforts to find a long term financial solution.

Students strongly opposed these decreases to the scholarship and we are deeply troubled that lawmakers across the state did not make saving the scholarship a priority.

“So many thousands of students rely on the lottery scholarship, and I’m disheartened that nothing came to fruition,” Brooks said, noting that UNM students already are facing rising tuition and fees.

As recently as 2014, scholarship covered 100% of tuition for NM students

Student will see an increase of $18 per credit hour next semester, but this is less than the $23 that was originally proposed at the meeting.

We want to thank the Regents and UNM for listening to the student voice and lowering the number.

Wednesday's approval came after a nearly four-hour budget summit that discussed cost-cutting measures and program cuts.

The Albuquerque Journal wrote a great article today about the ASUNM efforts to save the Legislative Lottery Scholarship. #SaveTheScholarship

If an extension of funding from the Liquor Excise Tax to the Legislative Lottery Scholarship is not passed, students on the scholarship will see their tuition rise by 30 percent next year.

Share your story with the Hashtag #SaveTheScholarship and let lawmakers know that the Legislative Lottery Scholarship matters.

Students on the scholarship will see their out of pocket tuition costs soar by 30 percent next year if the legislature does not pass an extension of funding to the scholarship from the Liquor Excise Tax.
