3월 8일 세계 여성의 날을 맞아 평등 원칙을 지지합니다.
우리 지역사회에 끼친 여파로 휴원과 휴교가 연장되면서 많은 ...한국 학부모들이 갑작스레 자녀돌봄과 업무 사이에서 고군분투 하고 있습니다. 이는 남녀를 불문하고 모두에게 닥친 현실입니다. 그렇다고 전염병과 같은 위기상황에서만 가정과 직장에서의 양성평등이 필요성이 부각되는 것은 아닙니다. 호주에서 일반적으로 여성이 주간 노동 가능 시간에서 3분의 2를 비급여 돌봄 의무에 쓰는 데 비해 남성은 3분의 1만 할애한다고 합니다. 이는 여성의 사회 진출에도 직접적인 영향을 끼치며 또한 성별간 임금 격차로도 이어집니다. 호주 뿐 아니라 다른 나라에서도 사정은 비슷합니다.
이번 세계여성의 날을 맞아 직장에서 뿐 아니라 가정에서도 모두가 평등한 사회를 실현할 수 있도록 노력합시다 (#EachforEqual). 그것이 결국 모두에게 이득입니다!

We stand together for equality this International Women’s Day.
As our communities are impacted by COVID-19, and kindergartens and schools remain closed, many parents throughout Korea unexpectedly find themselves balancing home care duties alongside work commitments. Men and women are in this together, but it doesn’t take a pandemic to highlight the need for gender equality at home as well as in the workplace. On a regular day, Australian women spend about two-thirds of their weekly working time on unpaid care work, compared to about one-third for men, which directly impacts female workforce participation and the gender pay gap. These numbers are similar in other countries.
This International Women’s Day, let’s work to achieve #EachforEqual in the home and in the workplace, for everyone’s benefit.

In response to evidence of a heightened risk of sustained l...ocal transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Republic of Korea (ROK), the Australian Government has placed an entry ban on foreign nationals travelling from the ROK from 9pm tonight Australian Eastern Time (5 March). This decision will be reviewed in seven days.
Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family members (spouses, legal guardians and dependants) will still be able to enter Australia. They will be required to self-isolate for 14 days on their return to Australia from the ROK.
In addition, the Government has agreed to raise the travel advice for the ROK to ‘reconsider your need to travel’. The Government has also decided to raise the advice level for Daegu to ‘do not travel’.
호주 정부는 대한민국 내 코로나19의 지역감염 위험증가에 대한 대응으로 대한민국 발 외국인 여행자에 대한 입국금지 조치를 오늘인 3월 5일 밤 9시 (호주동부표준시간)부터 적용합니다. 이번 조치는 7일후 재검토 될 예정입니다.
호주 시민권자, 영주권자 및 직계가족 (배우자, 법적 보호자, 자녀)은 호주 입국이 가능하며, 대한민국에서 호주로 귀국시 14일간 자가격리 조치됩니다.
또한, 호주 정부는 대한민국에 대한 여행권고를 ‘여행재고’ 단계로 상향 조정하며, 대구 지역에 대해서는 ‘여행금지’ 단계로 격상했습니다. See more
