Creepy vintage photos always fascinate me. You’d be amazed how many you find even for Valentines or Easter. Here are some of my favorite Halloween themed.

Is it just me or does anyone else have to mimic a chicken flapping its wings to figure out “breast side down” in the roasting pan?

What makes one author more successful than another? Sometimes it’s persistence. Even the most talented get sent to the slush pile. Imagine where the world would be had JK Rowling wadded up her manuscript after the first or third or even tenth rejection!

What the view from the finish line taught me I once ran a marathon. 26.2 miles and I finished in just over four hours. My pace varied throughout the course, and though I had been nursing an excruciating muscle injury from my time spent training, I never slowed to more than a jog the entire time. I just mailed out a package to a contest winner and reused a large envelope to wrap it in. Wonder what they’ll think if they happen to notice the previous return address is from the state police criminal records department...

Sometimes characters have a mind of their own. Usually it ends up working out somehow if you just let them take over!
