We had a member of our party who was vegan and Jane and her colleagues did a phenomenal job making the necessary adjustments to the menu, including inventing a phenomenal vegan pasta dish. We loved E...VERY dish, but were so impressed with how vegan-friendly they were! See More

Returned after a year's absence. Adrien, Sandy et al are in fine form. Welcoming new home. The cuisine is superb - wonderful home made pasta, memorable peach salad, really yummy duck liver. Excellent ...service. This is a real gem. Fun and lively. See More

The food here is five stars for me. I've been here twice and had delicious and well prepared meals both times. The Bistecca was to die for and the salted caramel pie is very tasty. Unfortunately a neg...ative experience with waitstaff prompted me to write this review. I went here with my boyfriend for a Valentine's day date. We had a reservation for the Saturday after Valentine's day which I had made well in advance. After eating an amazing meal, I was finishing my last few sips of wine, and the waiter appeared out of nowhere and asked us to leave because they wanted to seat a 4 top (however we had literally just paid the bill 5 minutes before his approach, and there were other tables open that they could have used for the 4 top). It was so frustrating and unwarranted! I would recommend this restaurant if it weren't for that negative experience. See More

Its hard to find a restaurant where every dish is something you would order again but this is the place!. Our party last night ordered everything on the menu (except 1 side) and it was all spectacul...ar. Great service and a very nice looking interior. It is a small space so call ahead is recommended. The menu changes daily, but my girlfriend and I had a broccoli salad with grilled ricotta cheese, duck liver mousse, tuna crudo, and duck ragu. We both agreed it was was one of the top-five best meals... we ever had. Our server was stellar -- incredibly friendly and helpful -- and the prices were extremely reasonable, about $45 for four amazing dishes. We were also about 10 minutes late for our reservation, but the host didn't mind at all that we wanted to run next door for a bottle of wine (it's BYOB). I can't recommend this place enough. See More

We are lucky to have this small but powerful eatery in Baltimore. I haven't had anything that I wouldn't highly recommend to friends or family. Their pappardelle w/ragu is the best I have had outsid...e of Italy and their staff is as friendly as can be. 5 Stars!!! See More

Three years ago, we read a very favourable review on Facebook. That person had a standing weekly reservation. We had one superb dinner and said. "Of course, we understand now." So we started a weekly... standing reservation because we could not get enough of Sandy's excellent culinary skills. Most of it was excellent. Sharing is the way to go. Broccoli salad with riccotta and beef carpaccio great. The chocolate salted caramel pie was too cold and Inedible

One of the best meals I have eaten in Baltimore. From start to finish... Perfect. The beet and chèvre costini had a perfect roasted/smoky taste. The grilled romaine with poached of egg and roast pork~...out of this world. Beef short ribs were very tender, juicy and flavorful. Not to mention, the salted caramel chocolate pie to finding it off was just right. Needless to say, worth your week in advance+ reservation. See More

Such a nice place--great atmosphere, food, and friendly staff. The lamb was some of the best I've had in my life. Highly recommend, next time I'm in Baltimore I'll be back.

Every meal at Bottega is better than the last. Most recently I enjoyed a spring meal that included a perfect ramp/butter fresh pasta dish. Highly recommend for seasonal ingredients done simply yet perfectly!

We ate last night, and had a very nice meal. The two crostini on offer were excellent, and the baguettes from Cunningham's were superb. All four pastas were great, and well proportioned. The pan-fri...ed veal was rather skimpy on the veal, and I wasn't asked how I wanted it done, and though it remained tender, I thought it was overdone.

The only problem was with our server. She was sullen, and almost seemed hostile, to the point of wishing either we, or she, wasn't there. She never once knew which plate was to go to whom, leaving us to sort it out for ourselves. Silverware was left scattered around the table, with no attempt to bring fresh utensils or plates, so we could share.

If it weren't for the great food, the evening would have been totally spoiled.

This establishment has either moved or closed, but I had confirmed reservations on my birthday. I showed up - wine in hand - and the building was closed. They also were not answering the phone.

...Apparently customer service isn't very important. So many other good restaurants in Baltimore. Don't waste your time here if they don't care about their customers. See More

(I was part of the 4-top tonight who chatted with you about cycling, Alexander McQueen and Austin ... and left a bottle of wine for the staff)... TOTALLY SPEECHLESS as we left the restaurant. Best me...al ever in Baltimore! We'll be back! I've made the salted caramel and choc pie twice after the recipe was published - any chance you'd share the lemon and thyme panna cotta recipe??
