Drum roll please! Come to the The Southern Theater & celebrate the debut release from my band with Molly Dean Music - Dusty Heart.
This music has been shifting and shaping over the past two years in living rooms, on stage, in the studio and on the road. We wrote and sang harmony across thousands of miles of scenery in our trusty Honda with feet up on the dash & windows rolled down. Born within our travels and forged alongside our friendship, the greatest adventure by far has... been the journey to find our collective sound; to take our two voices and our instruments and create something larger then the sum of our parts. Each of us is drawn to mystery and the first time we came together to sing we knew there was something to our connection that was beyond our understanding - a spark that made us hungry for the search. This album is where we’ve landed and we cannot wait to share our journey with you. We will be joined by some of our cities finest musicians: Mike Lewis, Jeremy Ylvisaker, and JT Bates. Doors 7:30 & Show 8:30 - ticket link attached - get them while you can as seating is limited!

Saturday, July 9 I'll be playing at the Turf Club with my duo project Dusty Heart in support of Frankie Lee's Twin Cities release show. I'll also be playing fiddle in Frankie's band. It's gonna be a fun night! Show at 8pm; tickets linked in post.
Over the last several months I've been lucky enough to team up with Molly Dean in a new project called Dusty Heart. I am having the best time working with her; she is a total powerhouse--a truly incredible woman--gorgeous inside an out. Here's a snap shot from our time at Lutsen Mountains last weekend. We're playing tonight and tomorrow at the aster cafe with The Ericksons and I would love for you to come out and witness this new endeavor. Both shows are at 9pm. 612.379.3138 for reservations.
Ever ridden in a gondola up a ski mountain by Lake Superior and sang a song by Spider John Koerner? Pretty great thing to do.
