"Our farm was losing money when we farmed conventionally and is now turning a profit"
James Rebanks, a shepherd from the Lake District who become a social media phenomenon and bestselling author. The Rebanks family have worked the fields above Ullswater for 600 years. But the introduction of intensive factory farming a generation ago led to disillusionment and a bitter family rift.
Rebanks invited Stephen Smith down to the farm to tell Newsnight what he learned from his forefathers, and how he turned the clock back to farm in sympathy with Nature.
