Changing my 5 star review to a 3 after a super disappointing experience today. It's really hard to be vegan and comfortable in the south and I finally found a p...lace I could come and enjoy eating out and feel comfortable. I've eaten here probably once a week for the past 2 months and love the food and the service is always friendly and fast, even though I get take out most of the time. Today I rushed there on my lunch break and my boyfriend, who normally waits in the car was going to come inside and buy me lunch, it was early, at noon, and as soon and we walked in the door, the gentleman working was walking towards us shaking his head and literally shooing us with his hands outside because my boyfriend had a Starbucks cup in his hand. I politely said we are picking up a to go order and he rudely told him to leave. What?????? I completely understand not bringing outside food or drink into another restaurant you are dining in at but for 1 I don't even think bean serves coffee and there wasn't anyone in their restaurant and we weren't eating there. It takes no effort at all to be polite and friendly, I work in customer service and frankly that's the only reason I expect my customers to return, because of good customer service, I probably won't return. عرض المزيد

Just went for the first time this weekend and I loved it!! It's perfect for my comfort food cravings! It's hard to find southern cooking that's vegan, and I nev...er have time to cook for myself so this is a great place for me to go! I plan on going with my family next weekend so they can try it too. :)

I ordered queso dip as a starter. Delicious! & the Cowboy burger and tater tot casserole for the main course. I loved it!!!! My girlfriend ordered the same except with mac n cheese. We didn't like the mac n cheese unfortunately, but everyone is different when it comes to vegan mac n cheese. & then for desert, we had the kitty cat cake and cherry chocolate cheesecake. Omg. Yum!!!

Anyways, I really appreciate this place. The staff was super nice! & I just love that more and more people are starting to care about the animals/environment/health and it's amazing! :D عرض المزيد

I absolutely fucking love this place, the staff here are so awesome and the food is amazing. Now I used to eat meat, but since my wife brought me here, it has ...totally changed my taste, so now I'm vegetarian and she is vegan and we try to come here every chance we get to enjoy this tasty food and bangin experience everytime!! I'm the lead vocalist for the metal band Annabel Lee, and I encourage all my fans to come and check out this place. Bean Vegan Cuisine was kind enough to host a fundraiser for Carolina Waterfowl Rescue and give half the proceeds to the Rescue. Several of my fellow volunteers ...and I attended and were in awe of the deliciousness of the food. We enjoyed a special menu of Mushroom Wellington, fresh vegetables, and fruit cobbler for dessert. Not only was dinner amazing, but our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. I'll definitely return to Bean! عرض المزيد

The service was poor. The food was poor. The co-owner didn't want to hear the criticism. We just didn't like the food and he kept accusing us of wanting it for ...free. It was obvious that we didn't like it because it was ALL left on the plate. IT would've been different if it was all eaten... LOL. But don't tell him you didn't like it. He said he has NEVER heard anyone say they didn't like anything they ate there. That's odd right?! -- one of the worst Charlotte dining experiences. It was our first visit. We were very impressed with the service, as well as the quality of the food. After our meal, we enjoyed visiting the vegan market on-site. It's quite a ways away from where we live, but, it will be well worth the drive over, and over again.

finally got to eat here after a long time waiting to be in town and make it work out schedule-wise. Was super psyched on the menu, ultimately chose the reuben ...as I haven't had one since converting. Great choice. The pimento cheese was fantastic as well. The food is amazing! I just wished Colby the waitress was better skilled for people ordering take out. While I was waiting for my order she didn't ask if I want...ed a drink,and I told her that I was a new vegan two days in what's her favorite dish, she said she would be right back she walked passed me several times and never said anything. It was my first time going there and upon walking in I wasn't sure whether to stand at the door or where to go. Finally she deterred me from dessert. Don't get me wrong I thought she was nice and sweet just needs some tweaking on to go orders. I wanted to order more but maybe next time I still left her a tip on my to go order but I would have given her more. First visit to Bean Vegan Cuisine as a surprise for my daughter. The food was absolutely amazing. Being a non-vegan myself, I could eat here every day! Will def...inately return next time I'm in town and believe my daughter and her boyfriend are hooked! Additionally, we got the closing time confused and arrived 15 minutes before they closed. The "burgers" were absolutely delicious and so was everything else we tried. The service was good too. I really liked the small placard that told customers what... they were saving by eating a vegan meal. It helps put it into perspective a little for some. Even though I'm not vegan, my daughter is so we went to Bean for lunch and loved it. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and we were thrilled to f...ind that they had a small store. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as taste goes but the food my boyfriend and I ordered was delicious! Sierra, our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly! Definitely will be back!! I can see this being a go to spot for us for sure!

Loved the deep fried tofu fingers and buffalo sauce! The mashed potatoes and gravy were a little disappointing though, well just the l gravy, I guess. We love the Bean! Even my carnivore husband loves it. We have been for dinner and brunch. The jackfruit bbq is amazing. The queso dip is wonderful. And the chicken and waffles will change your vegan/vegetarian life!

Messed up my order. Called them to let them know. They offered me a free burger. Called the next day for my free burger & they told me that moving forward it wa...s MY job to make sure my order is correct. I told them have a good night & hung up.

The food is always excellent and the servers are very kind and attentive. I love the atmosphere and the new Vegan market that just opened here is an awesome addition. Always a wonderful experience... Bean is my go to place for dining.

We had a great lunch. I am a very picky eater and did. It hi k I would find anything to eat here. I loved the vegan queso dip. Everything we ordered was great. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 10 adults and 2 infants.

Every time I go I have a Great eating experience. The food is very hearty and delicious. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I generally get Colby as my ...waitress. I ask her recommendations, she gives them and I enjoy. I've taken quite a few of my friends there that don't even do vegan. Yup they were Amazed. I go all the time. Highly Recommended! عرض المزيد

It's a beautiful and cold Winter day. Celebrate Meatless Monday with a Jalapeno Cheddar Burger or some Buffalo FIngers. They will warm you up and fill your belly. It's good y'all!
