It's been an honor to have participated in the Austin music scene through design, photography, running Indierect and co-producing Echotone Documentary Film – it was (and still is) an amazing time in Austin. So let me thank all of you for being involved with music and making this town unique.       Austin friends, you should be getting an event invite via FB as we speak, for tomorrow night's Ladies Rock Camp Showcase at 7pm at Beerland. TO BE TOTALLY CLEAR: I AM PERFORMING. This is not me volunteering or supporting youth campers. This will be ME, ROCKING OUT. I will be performing the first complete song lyrics/melody I have everevereverever written, and I will be fronting a non-karaoke band in public for the first time ever. I SAID EVER. The women's camp is a fundraiser for the girls' summer camp, so your $5 suggested donation at the door will support the nonprofit. FYI. Anyway, I really want to share tomorrow night with YOU, plus the amazing fellow campers including Liz Belile, Kendall Kibby-Deck, Blake Howard Norton, Chris Nine, Lee Pendley, Betty Dingus, Jessica Hyink Champion, Steph Beasley, Nena Chandler, and awesome musicians and volunteers including (but again, not limited to) Melinda Chow, Jess Bee, Terri Lord, Cari from Belaire, my voice coach Jamie, the Amazing Anjela, and many many more. IT IS GOING TO BE A PARTY. A rocking, empowering party. :) Logistics: - It'll be 7pm on a Monday, so downtown parking will be easy. - Beerland is at 711 Red River. - If you're NOT a night owl, hooray! It's an early show and you can be home by 9pm. - If you ARE a night owl, hooray again! There's karaoke at the bar at 10pm. That's all. See you tomorrow. XOXO
