Hello friends! Just 5 days until our exhibition will be up at Plymouth University's Roland Levinsky Building.
Here's a poster by my buddy Camerthing Illustrations which gives a bit of contextual info to the exhibition.
We've all volunteered our time and our money towards setting up this exhibition, so it'd be fantastic to see some familiar faces showing some support!...
Come along and have a gander, and if you're feeling generous then please put some pennies in the kitty, to help fund materials for arts and crafts! It forms part of the super important stimulation therapy that Memory Matters provides to the memory impaired in our community.
If you fancy taking somethign physical away with you, artwork will be up for grabs as posters, and the A2 exhibited images will be able to be bought too!
Hello m’beauties! I’m taking part in an independent exhibition on the 29th of this month and would really appreciate your support!
We’ll be in the Roland Levinsky building for one day only! 1pm-6pm.
The exhibition is organised by I Know You and is a celebration of the older generation, with a particular focus on the creative capabilities of those afflicted with dementia. It also aims to bring together two generations, with works created by members of Memory Matters South Wes...t and students at Plymouth University.
As well as helping to set up the exhibition, I’ve illustrated some limericks written by members of Memory Matters, the A2 prints of these illustrations will be for sale and we’ll be taking donations on the day.
We hope to raise money to donate to Memory Matters South West, to be put towards art supplies used in the creative segments of their therapy sessions. Hopefully this will help the community interest company keep down the cost of their sessions and go towards helping them provide free sessions for local people with dementia!
Hope to see you there!
Hello strangers! Here are some recent bits of work that I've neglected to share on here!
There's a Paw Patrol themed birthday card, a weird hairy monkey man that I drew as a little experiment one evening, an example of a kid's activity page and a portrait from a flyer
A Valentine's card and some birthday cards are also lined up, as well as some more kids activity pages - watch this space!
2016 has been a rather eventful year for me! Final year studies, travelling for several months, graduating and registering as self-employed.
Thanks for your continued support and a Happy New Year to you all!
(Here's an unrelated piece of work I created for fun today)
I've got some Christmas cards available to purchase for £1.50 each or 3 for £4! - home printed and hand-cut There's also a couple of Cornwall-specific designs which I'll upload soon!
These are approx. 148mm by 148mm and made from 240gsm paper. I've packaged them with A5 120gsm envelopes in clear bags too!
