If a strong personality is something to be celebrated, how can it possibly cause people break apart? Some women may feel that they are faulty, because their personalities seem to be shying men away from them.
When Noelle confessed to Dan that she’s been facing this issue, his response was interesting. He said that with such a fiery, sharp, distinct personality that she has, comes a challenge. Not anyone can handle such a character.
For various different reasons, some men ma...y feel intimidated by women who have their lives all figured out and know exactly what they want. Maybe because it can be hard to keep up with, or it makes them feel insecure and less worthy. They are not to blame for the way they feel because they have their own reasons. Some men just don’t prefer to be with such women and it’s okay, especially if they don’t point it out as an imperfection.
Although it may seem obvious that there is nothing wrong with these women, some women feel the urge to tone down their personalities and become more submissive in a sense. What all women need to understand is that, just because the men that you’ve encountered would rather be with someone who is at their level of growth does not mean you need to change who you are. It simply means that he’s not a good fit. Embrace your personality and all that you are, for there is nothing more precious.
