this is a great place to volunteer, have been at the Allied Drive Club since May. Tiffany, Jenn and the staff are great, and the kids love coming to the club! one of the best choices I Have made is c...oming here every week to make jewelry with kids. have a passion? A Skill? Want to share it? this is a good place to find a way to give back and have fun. And maybe this is true often, I think pushing myself to get out of my comfort zone and do something different has been really good for me. See More

I have been in Avid since 8th grade, but this company didn't fund us until freshman year and we really appreciate it.And all the cool things we wouldn't have been able to do without your funding

How much does it cost to join? That should be in the description. Why isn't the Allied address also listed?
Fantastic programs at both locations.

Alumni and Friends of the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps present Rockin’ For A Cure 2013 - April 20th – Live Music Benefit for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in Madison, Wis. – Featuring new ...music line-up, including Jazz/Funk artists, TUESDAY NIGHT SQUAD, and The Boys and Girls Club’s BLACK STAR DRUM LINE. Rockin’ For A Cure was started by Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Coprps Alum, Steve Weekes, who marched in the Scouts Drum Corps in ‘81-‘83 and instructed ‘84-‘88. In ‘99, Weekes was diagnosed with ALS, but quickly founded the Live Music Benefit - Rockin’ for A Cure, which debuted in 2000. Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County, Fort Atkinson, and Walworth County to Merge

Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, Ft. Atkinson and Walworth County Boards of Directors unanimously voted to become one non-profit organization, Boys and Girls Club of Dane County CEO Michael Johnson confirmed to Madison365 Thursday. In the upcoming months the organization will be looking to rebrand, realign staff positions and increases services to young people throughout the region. Johnson wil...l be CEO of the new organization, which does not yet have an official name.

“We are elated to be joining forces with these excellent organizations. Together, we will reach far more kids, and create a far richer place for kids to learn, play, and grow. The opportunities before us are far greater together, as one team, and we will change the lives of kids all over southern Wisconsin” said Jason Sanders, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Walworth County in the statement.

“The Boys and Girls Club of Fort Atkinson is so excited for the opportunity to become affiliated with the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County. Our local board has been pleased with what our club locations have been able to offer the elementary age population and the Fort Atkinson community over the past 13 years. We can’t wait to utilize the extended resources and leadership offered by the Dane County organization, which will allow our club sites to provide an even greater experience for our members. The benefits of joining a quality organization like the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County are endless. The kids are the big winners with this move and that is what it is all about — the kids,” said Steve Schafer, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Fort Atkinson in the statement.
