International of time it was something that the us government was doing to try to push back a revolutionary struggles around the world and, as the into that on the shores of the United States, um it was a period that we saw uh huh treats the moment assassinated by us efforts with us uh support and Cia agents and forces black bath and Congo uh. We saw 19 66 to overthrow of of chroma and gonna who The pain, uh and in the program of the us than and then made Johnson sort of engineered that we saw the cat to and then uh the warning that capture going to take about road and his assassinated fascination. 19 67 uh mountain is assassinated. King is assassinated. Um members of the black panther pride of being White the Co founder of asking people social spite of being killed in the same time frame so all of this happened to us in the name And sixties and we were in many instances, training in us a just simple incidents that were happening with particular Organization about being aware that it was an actual of coordinated program with the name um. With objectives attached to it. That that we, that was main seats 12 struggle and all the struggles that I just making representing the kind of prices that the system is going through with the consequence of the people's Frank back now we learned this August It's uh we learn in August of the program that's being put forth by the fb it's been catch as many of the dealing with the so-called. Uh terrorist threat that they characterize this black identity. Extremists and this is something that uh there's, an actual uh program that's done by the anti terrorist domestic terrorist arm of the the, something with that characterization and Uh, I was looking for uh I have before me a moment ago. The actual uh program that the have put full but one thing is that they do is they say that this, for ground is something that uh huh uh is in phones by resistance in person uh bad the the very and in ferguson the fight back in ferguson that showed uh um military forces before the guest our community who wish to Protesting not only a brutal murder, uh and execution when young African person in broad day like uh, but the fact that, in and a hundred good question, whether they left this body before and a half hours to running uh on asphalt and so the master about people rose up and that is foot, has actually change the things in this country, as far as the consciousness of African peace raising almost overnight, it had such a probably event and we saw the merge And so uh of different kinds of organizations too, militants in some real militants and all kinds of forces that has excited the imagination of of of the us government and so in this program and subsequent amount of course, uh that he would fight back by just ordinary black working class young people of the sagging pants people who is so often spending and criticize. We saw after that of course, and Dallas Texas, uh Mike x Johnson who uh kill of several of cups and then New York not new Orleans but baton moves. I think it was uh. They African custom old uh, uh gavin, gavin down tomorrow giving mom uh oh who uh shot and killed a couple of cops and this is the thing that I learned it the Fbi to the possibility of the struggle being gentle It's not just going uh. Thank African people like killing us compete was a general thing that was being John throughout the country. Now they think the response is becoming generalized and so they come up with this program. So black. I didn't big scream is and I think it's really uh significant and in the past, we have a situation where a many people solve of so-called militants and radicals and pollution. It back revolution is thing I've killed and wonder in arrested throughout the country and uh and give nothing about it because they thought it didn't improve them at only two Earn of course that the same program and make that head that was killing passes and mention my name. People like Martin, luther King and his dick and mouth next, uh even though they kill mountain before the program and he's dead and stole the car making. All the bunch of and one thing um because at the time when you see uh you know the struggle of the people begin to happen than everybody black Christians, a threat to my have the potential for leaving somebody to go some place and that's the thing that I'm really concerned about and we know about this program, however, and it has even a To find uh uh who it is that they uh looking for and even group, that they say um and involved in establishing uh independent uh. Uh economic and political programs. Uh that do not consider themselves Americans or how even business so assumed uh identity as African people, black something separate from America, so uh. I just think that is the real critical thing and I'm sorry I'm really stuff critical gonna come to this meeting. How many actually Recommend before me, it was my intention to do that and I just wanted to say that I really think that um it would be important of because because I know they have for people social find intense to uh to do as much as we can to inform people about the program. I think we neutralize demand program that people norm about being aware of it and what it can do. What it has done in the past. How to kill the King kill malcolm and arrested schools and hundreds. We don't even know how many people got caught up in Sweet so throughout this country during the 19 60 and some of that was given prison. Uh huh, but now we know about it and I think it would be really important if we can begin to put it on blast and so we uh beginning to do from African so surprised. What we can around that there's when African, his name is uh running is around him rocking rocking up by men, about going who uh was arrested in December Uh in Dallas Texas that kick this door down and they then said they have been following him for something like two 28 months uh and his of my second amendment, uh rights of forces in they actually have done things like this play weapons and for self defense. They have an well something better happen in a in Dallas where some of the plan, like before Is that threaten uh. This African must and they went and homes to stand to protect the mosque can chase them away. Um and they have been raising up the whole issue on the self defense and this uh has been the basis. It seems for the night States uh after to target them uh and I say that it appears this has been the basis because it's that uh oh And part of what I have this document before me now is done. This and intelligence and seven assessment prepared by the Fbi, counting to kinda terrorism division and uh here it says that of uh the the black I did next the Fbi defines black identity, extreme this as individuals who seek cole it are in part through unlawful acts of force or violence in response to perceived racism and injustice in American society and some do so in furtherance of establishing a separate black home man, all the time us black social institutions, communities, our governing Organization within the United States, so You know this is what me uh have pushing and I'm not even sure that even the release of this document wasn't apart of some kind of counter insurgency effort that uh give us permission to government to attack the court import of received extremists in the black community uh without of setting up respectable africans who uh don't plan to do anything accepted this is separate back uh. If that's the case of course, we sell half of King, so I'm just saying that I think will be really Me um if we have the ability, uh to begin to exposed this program and to in the process is so doing, show what it did to us in the 19 sixties and I think of being pointed dustin form uh. Everybody, everybody needs to know that this is happening in in this case, of this uh rocking up about booking by the moon. I think we should exposed that well so uh that's what Thing that I just wanted to say that I hope we can put on our agenda and anybody cooled is a private coalition, whatever we can do uh to initiate forums, discussions right about it. Uh talk about it to make the public aware of it. Uh gone when you can call on talk radio shows, if you have the capacity to do your own to do that, as well, to really expose this program. I think that would be extremely important and I also wanna say that one reason And sometimes that made allow you to be aware of these programs and the same reason that they used to of us so even when they have a technology should you back in the 19 60 's to hear them on the phone to hit the click to know this to be aware of the phone uh is to make us so pad, nor that we wouldn't do anything to further the struggle that we put out sales under arrest and I think that uh put we need to do in the process of exposing this black identity extremists frame up that the federal government is involved in uh is to uh a tell and show how this is Be on their part, that they afraid of and that purpose African population with a huge insect that's already in prison and that's nearly starving to death in communities around this country. That they're so fearful uh that they come up with. This concept here uh. I just think it's really important for us to to to expose that someone to say that about this particular program and I hope that there are things that that people that we can commit to just trying to take on in the first place is real be located and even to Uh perhaps even use electro school itself to uh uh to put this on the agenda at through elections to talk about it to make sure that it's not something that's overlooked and this is the thing is that the whole woman classes obviously and and this country engage in a serious split, is uh uh fighting among ourselves and when have you and I think that that is possible. That we can find lies just on the question of democracy and Democratic rights uh if we put it out and Expose it who would be able to tonight up to this program so I just wanted to put that forward. Um and um and holding that again that different ones of us we're located can again to take it on uh seven really trying to do it and every place we have access to a podium uh been you uh platform who
