After a day in Pattani we cycle along the east coast towards Malaysia. However, Thailand seems reluctant to let us leave in three days... I guess that's our sign to take a break 😅
This is probably the most beautiful breakfast we had on this trip! Little blue and white buns filled with sweet noodles, pink starchy balls, sticky rice with coconut flakes and some kind of beans and brown starchy sticky rice in banana leaves. With soy milk coffee in a perfect hipster screw jar 😍 on a perfect hipster actual school table!!!
One of the BEST things in Thailand are the massages! They are quite affordable, everywhere available and just the best treatment for tired legs after long days on the bikes 😍
Cycling with new friends is always awesome! New stories and ideas, inspirations and so much fun! Thank you Holly and Conrad (who took this picture) for the amazing time! You are missed! ❤️ @worldon2wheels
Team meeting!! In Surat Thani we met the legendary Conrad and Holly of World on Two Wheels 😍 Today we'll cycle together and try to sleep in a highway police station - let's see how that goes...
It's our anniversery!! 🎇🎈🎉 Exactly one year ago we started into this incredible adventure, to cycle from Germany to Singapore. And this is where it started: The beautiful English garden in Munich. It's hard to believe it's only been a year.
Happy Monday everyone! Doesn't matter where in the world you are - always remember why you do what you do. And: there is always another way 😂🌴 🏖 🦄☕🌅
Sorry for making you wait for the next post. These perfect tiny empty roads underneath the palm trees are definitely day dream material! Why would you even bother taking pictures if you don't really believe you're actually there... 😂
HAPPY SONKRAN!! How lucky are we to reach Bangkok right at the beginning of the Thai New years celebrations?! Three days of epic water fights 🚿💧☔ music and dancing in the streets - this is so much fun!! 😍 (and so much better than fire crackers in the middle of winter)
Last night when we passed one of the many beautiful colourful monestries, we dared to ask if we could stay for the night. One of them, who spoke very good English said yes and led us into the big ceremonial hall, where we made our bed for the night. They asked us many questions, brought us food and water and made us feel very welcome 😍
It could have been a perfect stay if it wasn't for the high volume dhamma speech at 4am in same ceremonial hall... 😂
Cycling down the Chao Phraya River feels a bit like the start of our tour: Along the Danube in Germany 🇩🇪 and Austria 🇦🇹 through lush forests always and always slightly downhill 😍 Finding a perfect spot for lunch or just relax our sore muscles is also super easy.
Today we cooked our own food for the first time in a while of yummy street food - and made green Thai curry 😋
