Over the past week I've had some infuriating horrifying discussions with a dear friend and mentor regarding the new cultural (ab)normalcy, most prevalent on campuses- but metastasizing beyond the quads- Political correctness run riot. What Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock have publicly spoken of as the reasons they don't 'do' universities, is now crossing over into the illustrative arts, graphic novel world. Basically it's gone from Comics to... Comics.

However I won't let that dissuade me from using this space as a forum to go ballistic about this anti-vaxxer analogue aimed at creators.

PS: Yes- the Context is indeed everything .This isn't about someone being insensitive -- this specifically concerns students who have taken offense to the explicit,yes- but germane- narrative content in a graphic novel -- a graphic novel presented as part of a school lecture series.
This mentor, this artist , this friend-- this TEACHER- lost their job because the school must investigate every "charge" of trigger-warning and offense[sic], and immediate suspension results while it's being "reviewed"
Things are spiraling beyond surreal into Chaos.
