For the most part the gym is amazing. The locker rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. But, it could be warmer in the room for yoga. It also would be nice to have a few classes from the 1-4 ...time and for another yoga class to be added at 9 or 10am on Sundays because the 11am class gets very full with not a lot of arm space. Love it but it would be nice if there were more water fitness classes offered on the weekend or even later in the afternoon. I have yet to try one out because I am not off until 2:30 and there are not... any offered on the weekends See More

If I could, I would give you a 0. Who takes away a person's right to take a video of themselves or a photo? What kind of place do you call yourself? You are a gym, be proud people want to promote you ...to the world of social media! Be proud people want to take videos or photos in your gym. Those videos people are doing are inspirational and you have taken that away. Watch your memberships walk away, obviously you don't believe in progress. Progress is proved through photos and videos. Thanks for ruining a wonderful thing in today's social media world! And try not being so sexist, none of those signs are in the men's bathroom and no man taking videos is being confronted but the females sure are. See More

I just read on one of your lifeguards treatment of a member. It was so rude and disrespectful of this male to treat someone the way he did. Even tho he said 'it was his pool.' Do all your staff like t...o body shame? And do all owners treat members who pay to use your facility in such a rude manner? Poor, disrespectful service was shown today. See More

I use the swimming pool because it is warm compared to the Mandan pool. Can’t wait till the women’s locker room is opened up again.

I love the group classes. I appreciate that they offer them at varying times and days of the week and the instructors are great especially as a beginner. The youth fitness class is amazing! The instru...ctors have the best personalities and do so well working with the kids that vary so much in age. It also allows for my friend and I to do our own thing :) See More

Love the Y. More air conditioning never hurts, tho. Some days the life center is like Florida on a bad day. Great facility, though and great people. My only gym!

I really enjoy all the variety, the assortment of group classes, the tracks, and more! I also used the daycare for my children and was very, very pleased!(that was quite a long time ago, but have been... members for about 20 years!)
The other day as I walked on the track, below me was a group of 3-5 year olds playing a game in the gym. I could hear their giggles and it made my day!

We work out 3-4 times a week at Bismaeck's YMCA. The cardio machines are great as well as the weight machines and free weights, too. The machines are well maintained and there are many of them so ti...me waiting between machines is seldom a problem. The help and trainers are friendly, lockers for gear always numerous and available, and coffee available following a workout. We really like this YMCA! See More

I am very new at the Bismarck Y. Working at a gym facilities for years in Fargo I really have a critical opinions about a clubs atmosphere. There are a few areas of the club that need some physical up...dating but aside from that.....WOW! Knowledgable staff and friendly members! Your group fitness instructors are so wonderful and well trained. Even though I don't instruct anymore I know what it takes to make a great instructor and well rounded program...this club has it all. So impressed! See More

It's a great place no question. However, I couldn't play racquetball at Capital because of a tourney so we went to the Y. They charged us $15 a piece for a day pass. 30 bucks for two hours of racquetb...all. Sorry but maybe they could come down on that a little bit... See More

I love the Y I was singing it's praises to someone who belongs to GOLDS her reasons she doesn't like it there are the same I didn't join. It's not very clean, more mirror girls,no one addresses you wi...th a "hi or good morning "etc. I told her about the comfortable women's locker room and all the equipment to use no matter how busy. The Y is FAMILY! See More

Excellent selection of free weights and machines and the cardio equipment is very high-grade. But my favorite thing is the time machine in the men's locker room...
