I have just bought my eighth item from Blue Lady Coutoure and am looking forward to receiving it. The quality of items from this lady are always superb. Joanna very kindly helped adjust a lovely blu...e jacket that I had bought in a vintage shop turning it into a bustle jacket, then made me a Josephine skirt in teal and a lovely velvet bustle skirt in navy blue with teal silk details to create a lovely complete outfit. I also have her Edwardian walking skirt and a bespoke bolero jacket for an Edwardian school mistress outfit for my museum work which doubles as a staple Steampunk outfit. Needless to say I am really looking forward to my new blue wool Josephine skirt :)
Me mum brought me a custom design waistcoat (police telephone box) for christmas.
best waiscoat i've ever had. The quality is far better than all my other waiscoats that have aquired over the years fr...om wedding shops and top end suit shops. Service was incredibly friendly (even got a free cup of tea while i was discussing the design). The waistcoat was worth the money paid for it. From now on, i shall be getting any my waistcoats from here all the time. Thankyou for a truly amazing peice for my wardrobe collection
Great service, great doublet. A pleasure to work with from concept and design to completion

Today Facebook is informing me that my 1065 fans haven't heard from me in a while. Clearly my posts last week didn't count. Well, Facebook, this post better reach all of them then..... none of your doctored algorithm malarkey. In other news, here's a little slideshow of a custom version of our underbust waistcoat on it's way to it's new owner. You can see the original waistcoat design via the shop link. Let me know what you think.
Just one of a number of our luxurious velvet cloaks that went off to its new home in America today. This one is a delicious royal purple called 'Bilberry ' from our new range of velvets. The hood is lined in black silk and the entire outer edge is piped with silver satin. It's a floor length cloak, but my customer is so tall I had to drape it on the floor for the photos!
I've just finished three of these gorgeous bustle aprons for a theatre production of Hobson's Choice. Beautiful drapery, waterfall ruffles and a big bow, hand drafted from original fashion plates and the original 50s/60s film. I'm so pleased with them I might add them to my catalogue. The 'Miss Hobson Bustle' anyone?
