In all of my travels I have not found a better independent bookstore. The owners(mother/daughter team) and staff go out of their way to give suggestions and hel...p find books.
The children's annex is exceptional with great books and a selection of Melissa &Doug toys.
If you are anywhere on Cape Cod I encourage you to visit Where the Sidewalk Ends.

Every summer, for 2 weeks, we visit this little bookstore and enjoy it every single time. Books ordered, a bookmark or two, local authors, etc. This place is almost perfect. A little more focus on the cafe part and I might move in!

Wednesday's Author Events: 3-5pm Booksigning with Sally Mott Freeman! Maybe you heard her on NPR, or read one of the high-profile, laudatory reviews! THE JERSEY BROTHERS is a gripping history book: the extraordinary, real-life adventure of three brothers at the center of the most dramatic turning points of World War II and their mad race to change history—and save one of their own.

Sally Mott Freeman's book, The Jersey Brothers, recounts the story of three men swept up by Word War II. The youngest brother gets captured in the Philippines, and the two others struggle to bring him home. NPR explores why stories of World War II remain so compelling to us today.
