We are thrown back to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in 2008. This was shortly before we were to travel to Europe for the first time and Jon had laryngitis! In order to try to preserve what voice he had left for our trip overseas, his docto...r’s ordered that he maintain silence at all times. No singing or talking for Jon! So, we gagged him for his own good. Dean was seen leaping for joy… we are sure it was totally unrelated to Jon being silent for an entire weekend. Bounding Main at Indian Boundary Park in Chicago performing between the matinee and evening performances of Fury Theatre's Merry Wives of Windowr. We had a great time performing and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the performance. We're delighted to have met so many new friends. We're also very delighted to see Bounding Mainiacs who drove so far to see us again!

We're very excited to have the singing group Bounding Main performing a 50 minute free concert in between our Saturday double header shows. Catch these merry songsters on our stage at 5:30pm and prepare to hum a jaunty sea shanty or two. Their CD's will be available for sale at our box office during the run of the show.

Bounding Main will be featured on "Noon Tunes" the week of May 27 - 30. (They're not at the studio on Monday/ Memorial Day). And---Dave McGrath will slot the band in a couple of times this summer as well.

Continuing at the 2007 Fishers Renaissance Faire… it was so hot that we called our stage the “Easy Bake Oven Stage” and here we can see that Dean is clearly suffering from heat stoke! Christie is also suffering from heat stroke as she tries to eat a giant fiberglass ice-cream cone. But fear not, dear Mainiacs, we were able to find some respite from the heat at the hotel where Gina was seen streeeeched out in the whirlpool. — met Dean Calin en Dalby Twins.
Throwback Thursday takes us back to the Fishers Renaissance Faire in October of 2007. We were so excited to perform at a festival occurring the fall! It was a scorcher of a weekend with record level highs. It was so hot on stage our boots w...ere sticking to the black paint on the surface of the stage! The hot glue on our props actually started to melt! The good news is that the people were lovely and we had a wonderful time despite the October heat wave. It was so hot outside that we refused to remove ourselves from the air-conditioned vehicle…so David removed us. Meer weergeven
