Braidwood Remembers As part of a world wide simultaneous performance, Chris Nelson played the old pipe tune "When the battles O,er" from the tower of St Andrews Anglican Church . As part of the international commemoration on the centenary of the Armistice in World War One, the Australian participation at 5pm (Australian Eastern Summer Time) coincided with the exact time the Armistice was signed and link simultaneously with performances of the famous tune in Britain and across Europe.
