that beautiful gold leaf couch I bought in Florida for a major amount of money and had it shipped....it came to me in pieces....sold it for a fraction of the price, but I guess that's the peril of buying and shipping.
The flea market is almost upon us! I've been busy cleaning out offices, buildings and multiple storage areas, so this is going to be a great way to get rid of that "stuff" I have.....

The Mainstreet Macon Downtown Association, MMDA, sponsors the annual Fork & Cork Festival in downtown Macon, MO each fall. Our festival attracts high end visual art artisans, high end crafters and quality antique dealers as well as a farmers’ market. Bands and musical performers will entertain throughout the day with jazz, blues, country, oldies and more. Good food and tasty wines add to the mix making for an outstanding day. A 5k run/2 mile walk could start your day if you’re interested in early morning exercise before the downtown festivities begin. MMDA would like to personally invite you, as artists, as arts councils/galleries, antique dealers and crafters to show at our fall festival this year. We are filling our streets with artists and antiques! We have been enlarging our festival and building our artisan base over the past few years. 2015 was the largest festival we’ve sponsored with artists and dealers showing from four states. We would like to invite you to show at the 9th Annual Fork & Cork Festival. Our informational handout and vendor application is attached if you’re receiving an e-mail.
