You know you're a hippie when you make your own sun protection, foaming body wash, mouthwash, hair growth stimulator, and bug repellant and it's the most exciting part of your Wednesday.
I love this picture so much! My mom being a badass, getting interview by the local news for a segment about her being a local hero for her work with The Pink Fund before attending an event for which she was nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year and my stepdad in the back looking like a secret service agent.
Words cannot express how devastated I am to find out that my dear friend has the same degenerative disease that took her mother in 2011. As much as I want to lay on the couch and cry forever (which I've allowed myself to do for the past three hours), instead I am going to do everything in my power to fund a cure for Ataxia. I will not let it get my friend. Her story here: https://thevanishingmagician.com/
Everyone who comes forward about abuse they have experienced should be believed.
The amazing, wonderful, lovely, twisty, bendy, funny, warm Rebekah Grace Yoga is hosting a workshop and y'all should go!

Woah it's almost MARCH! Twist Workshop is right around the corner! Saturday March 12th 1-3pm @yogadaya
Ask a non yogi about what they think happens in a yoga a class, and the answer may have some variation of the following line “you get all twisted up into a pretzel.” And they’re right. A well rounded yoga pr...actice contains a lot of twisting. We twist seated, standing (on both legs or one) on our hands, even upside down. Because of the variety of twists, you might guess that twists provide an abundance of benefits. They do. There are physiological benefits to the circulatory system and internal organs, structural benefits to the musculoskeletal system, and focusing benefits to your consciousness.
In this workshop we will go through:
- Some of the different styles of twisting - How to safely twist
- The importance of hip and pelvic stabilization when twisting
- How to go deeper and start binding your twists
- Why are they so important
Please know that there will be a warm up involved in this workshop, so come prepared to move! We will end with a guided relaxation and Savasana. #gettwisted #twistworkshop #yogagoodness #whytwist #wringitout #yogadaya #culvercity #practicebecauseyouloveit #yogayogaeverydamnday #namastizzlemynizzles #rebekahgraceyoga
