Our very own Andy is back on the air in 10 minutes time with "The Dukey Radio Show" this and tonight's theme is "Grime Investigation" (Thurs 30 Jan).

Dukey is proud to welcome Musicologist, Londoner and Renaissance Woman Joy White into the studio to discuss the gestation, birth and development of "Grime" music in the UK. With influences far more wide ranging than many may realise, "Grime Investigation" will reveal how this seemingly modern musical movement is the byproduct of the cultural history of Britain and the capital city in particular over the last five decades.

Grime Investiation: Tough on Grime. And tough and the causes of Grime.

In addition:

Sylvia Silversmith will inform us about "Scintillating Situations in Your City" which are "hard to beat". Quite literally hard to beat. Naked Men, Big Sticks and the Blood Spillage across three nations and two continents will be discussed in detail - but it's all in the name of peace. In addition, a very "specialist" dance class in London will be discussed in all its retro detail.

- Marsha the Roving Reporter (with the Razor Sharp Voice) will tell us about a novel thing to carry around in "Overheard".

- In a highly emotionally charged 4th installment of the celebrity genealogical programme "Who the hell do you think you are?" - the eccentric OAP Irene puts up a big protest and walks off the show. Find out why by tuning in.

- Slutty Sue gets up to some "grime" of her own while on holiday.

- Dukey will inform listeners about his encounter with a grime music legend while on tour in the US in "Tour Talk".

All of this and ever so slightly more.

Our very own Andy is back on the air with the Dukey Radio Show. This week's theme is "Jimmy Buffett The Vampire Slayer". Click on the link for more details. And tune in 6-8 pm GMT or download the podcast from 9 am tomorrow via iTunes for www.croydonradio.com.
The theme for tonight's Dukey Radio Show (27 Feb) is "Jimmy Buffett The Vampire Slayer". A delicious aural "buffet" featuring the odds and ends that we couldn’t fit into previous shows as well as some new tunes from Hentai Babies, Waco and ...Tolerance Manoeuvre. A bit like a chef's special. Only involving Dukey goodness.

In addition:

- Sylvia Silversmith and Dukey will wax lyrical about the largest street festival in the world, pets with thumbs and MC Hammer themed dance classes in London.

- Marsha the Roving Reporter (with the razor sharp voice) has a crisis of confidence involving an amusing exchange with the staff at a well known British coffee shop chain. And recruits the assistance of Dukey and Sylvia for a special edition of "Overheard". They jointly discuss Jim Jarmusch, the district of Leyton and Prince while exploring ethnic pigeonholes and the pros and cons of an iconic Italian institution in Soho.

- Dukey examines the misconception of the word "bloody" by our American cousins and its true ranking in the British rudeness scale.

- Slutty Sue talks about her big chest.

All of this and ever so slightly more.

Our very own Andy is back on the air with the Dukey Radio Radio Show. In just 5 minutes time via the link below you can stream it live.

The theme for tonight's Dukey Radio Show is "February the Sixx".

With Mötley Crüe having just announ...ced their "Yes, we really ARE retiring this time!" tour - it seems highly appropriate to celebrate the music that influenced Nikki Sixx and his decidedly dirty partners in crime. But, please note that this show will NOT be a lazy "Mötley Crüe Best Of" fantasy. In fact, no Crue tracks will be getting a spin.

But what will Dukey be spinning? You'll have to tune in and find out.

In between his Mötley themed banter, Dukey will be showcasing many new tunes as well. So, in a way, it's Mötley NEW.

In addition:

- Irene has returned to the set of "Who the hell do you think you are?" but will she be co-operative? Or has the threat of legal action forced her reluctant return?

- Slutty Sue talks about dealing with "the dirt". And she's not talking about the Mötley Crüe autobiography of the same name. And, yes, a band CAN have an autobiography.

- Marsha the Roving Reporter (with the razor sharp voice) discusses an overheard conversation involving Hanoi Rocks and Poison.

- Dwarves in Videos returns with a bit of a "Mini Crüe" theme this week.

- And in tonight's instalment of "In the Loo", Dukey informs listeners about a chance yet charming encounter with a popular young British comedian.

- An amusing and equally arousing Mötley Crüe lyric gets put on the examination table in "Analyse This".

All of this and ever so slightly more.
