If your business is not listed when you attempt to verify it, you may be asked to upload official documents to prove that your business has been registered. These documents must show the legal name of your business and your business's official postal address or phone number. Remember to cover any additional personal information that we do not need to verify your business (such as social security number or the local equivalent in your country) if it is included in the document. You may also be asked to provide proof of website domain ownership if you choose to receive a verification code at your email address.

Note: If your supporting business documents are not in a language listed below, please use English translations with official stamps of a translating agency.

The following languages are currently supported for business verification:

1. Enter business details

   Enter your business details and click Next.

   The business information that you provide during the business verification process will become publicly visible if your Page has a large US audience or runs ads about social issues, elections or politics in the US.

2. Select your business

   As your business is not listed, select None of these match.

   If your business is listed, stop here and follow these steps to verify your business.

3. Verify the legal business name

   You may be asked in step 3 to provide official documentation of your business's legal name. Upload an official document that matches the business's legal name that you entered in step 1, such as a business licence, articles of incorporation or business tax registration. See table below for examples of the documents you can submit for your country.

4. Verify the business address or phone number

   Upload a document that shows both the legal name of your business and the postal address or phone number shown on the screen.

   After you've uploaded the documents, we'll review them as quickly as we can. This may take several days. You can check the current status of your verification by going to your Security Centre.

   The table below shows what documents you can submit for business verification processing for your country of residence.
