I have had the pleasure of a close associatio
n with this Community College for nine years from a different prospectiv e. I provide housing exclusivel y to male students attending here and have been ble...ssed with having students from all areas of study live at my home. Over the years, if there has ever been a problem that a student brings to me regarding the school, I would assist the student to address the problem to the appropriat e professor or adviser/ counselor and have always observed the outcome to be handled profession ally and to the student's satisfacti on.
ly, this college strives to provide academic excellence as well as providing extensive financial assistance to deserving students. I would strongly recommend any student looking for a wonderful college experience to contact this college and walk around the campus...t alk to other students and visit with an adviser. You won't be disappoint ed!
We came to watch our daughter in the Theater Production
of Frankenste in the New Musical. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. The costumes, and the musical score were terrific. We felt that the production ...was of high quality. I have been to some 4 year college production s that were not near as good as this college production was. What a great opportunit y for students to be creative. It was so worth the 5 hour drive to see this play. Congratula tions to all the actors, stage crew, and BCCC educators and staff on a job well done. Jim and Dawn Hampton Atwood, KS
After having the same e-mail address for 12 years, Butler now wants to inactivate
all accounts for people who aren't students. I'll now get to spend the next 10 days (how long they are giving us to fi...gure things out) to go through 12 years' worth of contacts and correspond ence. I can't even explain the inconvenie nce of this all.
If I could rate this school lower I would. Terrible announceme
nt procedures for bad weather conditions . Couldn’t find it on canvas, pipeline, emails, or the website. I don’t watch tv. My phone was shu...t off due to college disburseme nt’s taking a month and in between jobs. And this school obviously has no considerat ion for the welfare of its students. My earliest class was at 7:40am and I live 45 minutes away, my significan t other had an appointmen t at 6:30am so using his phone was out of the question. This school is absolute crap.

Tried to take distant learning classes after I had moved to Texas, was okay paying out of state tuition because they had a spot available in a class I needed. Applied for split payments so I could aff...ord the added cost to which the website told me to wait for a response to whether I was approved. Since I could not afford the cost up front I went about my business and having never gotten a response, never logged in to blackboard
. Got an email from the professor halfway into the class, (the first attempt to reach me) saying I was going to be kicked from the class for not participat ing. I immediatel y asked if I could catch up or if I should drop, after letting him know what had happened. He told me that I would need to file an appeal, which I did, and was unsuccessf ul even though I had given clear evidence that I was told to wait for a response and communicat ed with my teacher what had happened. It was very clear that I had never logged in even once, and was not trying to get out of a class that I did not like or was in over my head. The school sent my bill to collection s while I was trying to get it sorted and ended up paying about $200 over in late fees. After having spent time there while I lived in Wichita, it completely changed the way I thought about Butler.
I love Butler because the staff cares and wants you achieve! I have a little over Two years to go!!
I love Butler. It's done so much for me and at such an affordable
cost. I've obtained two associates degrees without any financial aid and I've been able to do everything with my college education on ...my own without outside assistance . The facilities are amazing and I cannot speak highly enough of this institutio n. It sticks up for the little guy and gives EVERYONE a chance to start their journey towards higher education. I will forever be a Grizzly
At first, the only reason I was excited to come to BCC was because it wasn't home. I was extremely excited to get out of my little town and live somewhere where NO ONE knew me! Now that I am here, it'...s much more than just any other community college. Here, I have met some of the greatest friends and some of the greatest teachers! Everyone is so kind! ESPECIALLY
the ladies in the Accounts Receivable Office and the Financial Aid Desk!!!! The sports teams have the most amazing students that will make great leaders one day! I love it here at BCC and I cannot wait to continue my education her the next few semesters!
Overall I had a good experience
. I earned an associates degree in software developmen t. 4 months after graduation I had my start in a new career. I stared putting my resume out at the end of my next t...o last semester (November, graduated in May). By July of the next year my degree paid off big time. I received a 40% pay increase. My boss commented that along with the experience I brought with me, Butler did a good job preparing me to be a software developer.

I start classes in August and was very impressed on how quickly things went when I enrolled! I know many continuing
nursing students who currently attend butler and have nothing but GOOD things to say... about it! Coming from WATC - I am excited to join a top notch community college!
This school is charging me almost $2000 and and i was never able to take one class because they messed up paperwork.
Worst school.. thats what happens when students do the work and its not gone throug...h by someone that knows what they are doing.
Butler is the best, it has taught an old man that it isn't about where you been, it's where you are going.
I had a great time hanging out with people in my Exact Sign Language class. We would always hang out. We had the same view points that is why we got along. I had a hard time fitting in the Compara...tive Religions class because they are was to much conflict in there, but not going to talk about it. God bless you. Talk to you later. See yahoo. I heard some of students are dying, do I will keep them and their families in my prayers. Have a great rest of your week.
I love Butler, I left to attend another college and decided to come back. Butler really cares about their students! And for someone using their GI Bill, they really go out of their way to help and e...xplain the entire process. Completely
stress free and every instructor I have had has been just wonderful! Thank you Butler! :)
