Let's talk about the most pressing challenge for the Democratic party right now in California and that is the intended recall of one of the party state senators josh neuman some activists are going after him trying to recall him not some actor some Republicans are going after was be clear we've already started doing mail for him ready started uh working to put together a campaign to um minimize the likelihood of success of qualifying this I unfortunately have little bit of experience with recalls um this is not my favorite arena in the world since I help run the campaign that was not successful to protect governor Davis uh um but here's the thing this guy came into office took a Republican seat on the basis of his persona on the basis of his relationship to the military and the veterans on the basis of a set of uh policy uh playing some believes that are frankly quite in tune with that district and we're gonna have to fight it out
