Ate for the first time at Offbeet today for my birthday lunch with my two sisters and niece. My sister is a vegetarian and also has to eat gluten free - it was... so lovely to go out and have a meal that we all enjoyed together. We ordered four different mains and tried each others - so impressed - delicious, looked beautiful and we will definitely be back. What a delectable discovery. After feeling relaxed to the core from my pamper session this morning, I've just stumbled across a dairy, gluten free and vegan caf...e tucked away in wonderful Wickham. Now I'm neither vegan or vegetarian but blimey, when the foods this fresh and freaking awesome, I could certainly convert. The menu is short and sweet - brilliant for indecisive humans like me. I settled upon 'squashed squash' and a gingerbread chai tea. This scran was so smashing, I couldn't leave without a piece of chocolate peanut butter flapjack to takeaway and enjoy with my book and a blanket later. � عرض المزيد

Have been meaning to come here for a little while and am really glad I finally made it. Got in for lunch just at the right time because it was packed very short...ly after. The Holy Moley was very nice. I really enjoyed the chickpea tortilla chips. Far nicer than the usual corn variety. I could have eaten a plate of them. The coffee was pretty good too. Smooth and strong which is just how I like it. Decided to get cakes to takeaway because they looked too good to leave in the cabinet. Will definitely be back again. عرض المزيد

We've been visiting Offbeet from the start of their journey back when they were named the Meon Cafe and stumbled across the place by accident when visiting the ...mill. We were veggie back then and happy to find somewhere who could cater for us so well. Now newly vegan, it is by far our favourite place for coffee, cake, lunch or for celebration of an event. Not only is the food awesome but the owners are the best, love what they do and couldn't be more passionate or knowledgable if they tried! They inspire us with each and every visit � عرض المزيد

Perfect place - healthy, well-thought out and super super tasty vegan food, friendly staff, excellent service and good prices. We will be back as soon as we can and would recommend to anyone, vegan or not. Have the beetroot burger and chocolate orange slice �

I make the 2 hour round trip journey as often as I can to eat here! Is easily the tastiest, most innovative vegan food I've eaten and the ambience and service ...is always fabulous. The chef is doing wonderful things with ingredients that goes above and beyond 'just' vegan food. I can't wait to go to their dinner evening in December! عرض المزيد

Unreal... I have no dietary requirements (vegan, gluten free etc) whatsoever but eating this food it feels like you're eating something more, rather than a meal with something missing. Changed my outlook on this 'genre' of food! Chilli con choccy is also an eye opener!!

What a find. I did not think I would ever find somewhere that would cater for Vegan only however even more important than that was the Fantastic Food. The Beetr...oot Burger and the Mango and Passion Fruit Slice were Perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. We will be calling in every time we pass from now on. عرض المزيد

Popped in today for a piece of salted caramel, chocolate and banana cheesecake....it was amazing!!
So great to have somewhere like this on the doorstep.

I am a committed carnivore and didn't know what I'd make of a vegan restaurant but I was bowled over! Delicious sweet potato noodles and a mango, passion fruit ...and coconut slice for dessert. Went for lunch for the first time today. Wow! Absolutely fantastic! I've been an organic vegan for several months now and it was great to find somewhere to eat ...out. The food was simply delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were so lovely too. Very accommodating and full of information about what they were selling. After discovering this place last year it has quickly became our favourite place to eat and we try to make excuses to come to Wickham just so we could come here.... This place is excellent for us as we both have awkward dietary requirements which means that between us we don't eat meat, gluten or cows dairy, so we can't go wrong with homemade gluten free vegan food. We have never had poor service and the food is both beautiful and excellent quality. I would also say that for what you get, the prices are extremely reasonable. The cafe seems to have steadily become more popular as the word spreads and we now have to pre plan our trips and book in advance to get a table.

For this reason we asked Offbeat to cater for a family meal at their cafe for 19 people for our wedding day. It was a struggle for them to fit so many of us in but they dealt with the challenge exceptionally well. They provided a buffet style service with some of their most popular and easily accessible dishes, followed by delicious cakes. Despite the volume of food they needed to produce, the quality was excellent. Even members of the group who usually eat steak and chips and treat vegetables and pulses with a kind of fear tried the different foods and found at least something they liked. The shredded jack fruit, which tastes a bit like seasoned pulled pork, was extremely popular. I would also highly recommend the cauliflower tacos. My only problem was that the food was so good I couldn't breathe in my dress by the end of the meal!

The staff went over and above what was expected of them and they added lots of little extra touches such as a small bar of probiotic vegan chocolate on each seat (will definitely be looking into buying more of this), heart napkins, beautiful flower table pieces and extra surprise food which was also delicious. In my point of view Offbeat did a brilliant job and helped to make our day extra special. If anyone is considering Offbeat to eat at for a small celebration I would definitely recommend them.
