Loving café Shanti! The food is totally delicious and the ambience is great, so relaxed. You can take wine in if you like but there is also a wide selection of ...tea, which is nice for a chilled out meal. The staff are always so friendly and knowledge about the suitability of food for different dietary requirements. It is small so booking is advisable if there are a few of you. First visit to Cafe Shanti and certainly won't be the last. What a lovely little place, lovely atmosphere, friendly guests and staff, delicious food. Had a ligh...t bite followed by cake and ice cream, OMG the cake and ice cream!!!!!! Delicious. All of our food was vegan and it was fantastic. Had a fantastic meal here with my vegan partner, even though I am not a vegan I was spoilt for choice and there were so many vegan and vegetarian options. Our f...ood was amazing and excellent value. The mint lemonade (home made) was wonderful, and the ambience was so friendly. Shame we don't actually live in Lincoln and were just on a little break there otherwise we'd be regulars. عرض المزيد

Tried a few weeks ago for the first time (been meaning to for a while), the food was great! I had the mushroom and halloumi burger with sweet potato fries and vegan garlic mayo. Prices are great and atmosphere was lovely, a real friendly and cosy feeling when you go in.

We visited for the first time on Saturday and were not disappointed. The menu was great with lots of options to choose from. I enjoyed the falafal burger and the Shanti sauce was amazing with the sweet potato fries. Will be back :-)

We all had the chickpea and spinach kadala and it was very fulfilling. My sweet potato fries were very nice and crispy. The portion sizes were perfect and overa...ll the meal went down well with everyone. Such great food with authentic flavours and I would highly recommend Cafe Shanti to anyone in and around Lincoln. My boyfriend is a new vegan and we were looking for good vegan restaurants. The food is fantastic, not only is it value for money, but its also tasty and filling.

10/10 would recommend!

The food is wonderful, incredibly reasonably priced and in one of the most beautifully decorated rooms ever. It's warm and inviting, the staff/owners were reall...y friendly and obviously passionate. And guys. VEGAN. CAKE.
My friends and I went for breakfast this morning (breakfast wrap with vegan sausage, mushrooms and potato with a cappuccino) and I took a piece of cake away with me too. They do takeaway food, guys. Come on. For the three of us for 3 wraps, 3 drinks and a piece of cake it was £18.something. It's affordable, delicious, and no harming of animals or people in the process. This beautiful little oasis only poses one problem, which scrumptious dish to choose off the menu. Take all your friends and order a different dish each and pass them round. We had the Banana korma and the halloumi and mushroom burger, both were amazing. Definitely going back soon.

We went to Café Shanti yesterday for the first time. Really tasty food, great range of choice and really reasonably priced too (£15 for 3 main courses). The Winter Warmer drinks are lovely! I'm absolutely sure we will be heading back soon as the cakes looked amazing �

Just ate the most amazing butternut squash soup!! Very pretty interior and the staff were a delight. A very warming experience. Definitely recommend

My son is vegan and I'm a vegetarian. It was lovely to go to a cafe and be spoilt for choice. Usually it's pasta, pizza or would you like a veggie burger? Such ...a variety of food to choose from. I had the banana korma and my son had the vegan lasagne with sweet potato chips. Gorgeous food in a chilled out place. Great atmosphere. I felt totally chilled when I came out. Highly recommend. It's a charity based cafe so you are supporting a good cause too. Quality food and very cheap. Staff were friendly too. عرض المزيد

Hi folks!
Just to notify you of a change to opening hours this Saturday 11th March... we will be closing at 5pm instead of our usual 9pm. On Sunday's our opening times will be changing to 12-4 too!

Food Monster is always willing to try any menu and seeing that a vegetarian and vegan restaurant had opened in the past few months, I couldn't wait to see what was on offer. Vegetarian restaurants...

Just experimenting with a chai spice cake, it's cooling now! Cakes ready at the minute are courgette and lime, coffee, Oreo, banana, chocolate and mint plus a yummy raspberry choc mousse which is gluten and dairy free. Xx

Please note there will be a few changes to our opening hours during the next few weeks as follows:
On Monday 27th February we will be closed all day.
On Saturday 11th March we will be closing at 5pm.

We've got a Laos style spicy vegan roasted butternut squash, coconut and chilli soup today to warm you up! Also carrot and red pepper for those who are not so adventurous! Vegan chocolate brownies in the oven will be ready once cooled! Now to attempt a vegan cherry bakewell tart as requested by Amanda x
