Tout d'abord, le Café Venosa est super accessible : à quelques pas du Métro Mont-Royal. L'endroit est vraiment beau!! Mur de brique, murs/portes peints turquois...e, rouge et violet, oeuvres d'art félin. Il y a aussi une terrasse intérieure sympa et de la bonne musique :)

En ce qui a trait à la bouffe, même une non-végétalienne comme moi peut y trouver de quoi se régaler! J'adore leur salade César et leurs pizzas "Toute garnie" (ma préférée!!!), "Venosa" et "Tarquin" (Ils ont amélioré le menu et il y a beaucoup plus de choix de pizzas qu'avant!!). Leurs breuvages chauds sont très bons, en particulier le latté chaï, le café latté, le café moka et le mochaccino :) (C'est vraiment cool qu'ils aient une carte de fidélité!) Et c'est le comble du bonheur quand j'ai une tête de chat en mousse de lait sur mon breuvage! hihi

Côté desserts, le pain bananes-chocolat, les beignes, les scones et les cupcakes sont succulents (principalement de Sophie Sucrée). Excellent service.

Et que dire des chats? Ils sont tous très mignons et charmants. Si je ne m'abuse, à ce jour, Café Venosa en a fait adopter 34! WOW!

Des chats adultes qui ont la chance de se faire connaître et apprécier dans un endroit douillet, chaleureux, plutôt que d'être enfermés dans des cages de la SPCA (ou pire encore, euthanasiés! :'( ).

J'en ai vu passer plusieurs adorables que je n'ai pas vraiment eu le temps de connaître (c'est bon signe!): Neruda, Aria, Buzby, Oculus, Cuddles Mcboop, Houdini, Diplodocus, Digsy-Odie, Oceania, Satsuma (R.I.P.), etc. Certains aussi auxquels j'ai eu le temps de m'attacher, car je leur ai rendu visite pendant plusieurs mois avant qu'ils trouvent un foyer, comme Nishka, Canterbilly, Kitchener et Bobby Jean. ♥ ♥ ♥

Ceux que je vois souvent (comme Magoogle), ou les p'tits nouveaux (Smokey, Dinsdale, Nietzsche, Bandit, etc.), je les adoooore et je les adopterais tous si je le pouvais (J'en ai déjà pas mal!). Je leur souhaite une bonne famille pour la VIE, puis en attendant, il me fait énormément plaisir de leur rendre visite, les cajoler et les prendre en photos.

Sans oublier la mascotte (non adoptable) Tarquin: tellement sociable et comique, ce minou!

Bref, au Café Venosa, c'est l'fun qu'on revoie des chats d'une fois à l'autre et qu'on en voie des nouveaux aussi régulièrement. :)

Finalement, j'apprécie vraiment qu'ils mettent parfois "j'aime" et partagent des photos que j'ai prises affectueusement de leurs félins, et ce, même si ce sont des photos de (piètre) qualité "téléphone cellulaire". Quelle générosité de leur part! J'aime encore plus le Café Venosa! :) عرض المزيد

Wow, this place is amazing! It's more like a cool and comfortable cafe with cats lounging around here and there as opposed to the Japanese style cat cafe with a... big open room where a bunch of cats are made to play with patrons.

The cafe was very clean and stylish, the food was delicious and prepared in a glass walled cat proof kitchen. I very much enjoyed hanging out in the space and if I lived in Montreal I imagine I would come here for coffee all the time. I can't say the same about the other cat cafes in town, which are closer to the Japanese model and nowhere near as comfortable to hang out in.

If you have several small children who really want to play with the cats, maybe the other cafes would be a better choice. But if you want to hang out and have a delicious lunch at an awesome cafe alongside some super cool cats, Cafe Venosa is for you. عرض المزيد

Bel endroit, bon service, la bouffe est bonne et les chats sont nice et semblent très à l'aise. Ils peuvent en tout temps se réfugier sur des tablettes ou dans ...une autre pièce quand s'ils n'ont pas envie de dealer avec les humains. Le concept d'adoption est une excellente idée, merci au café Venosa de sauver des chats!
Oh, et la musique est presque toujours bonne, on dirait que c'est moi qui fais les playlists. 8-) عرض المزيد

I think it is a must go place . Happy purrings, lots of furry love and excellent service. If you are planning to share your life with a cat, it is a perfect place to adopt a little purrfection. All the cats are well socialized with humans and it is a big plus.

A bit of a "niche" market (the vegan cat lover) but if you're one or the other or both, you'll like this place. And if you're neither (like myself) you'll still appreciate the good food and the friendly service.

Bless this establishment. I come here a few times a month and I'm always so pleased by the ambiance and the service. The place is very cozy and relaxing and the... cats are absolutely lovely. The prices are very fair considering there aren't any admittance fees for the cats care. I also really love the fact that this café is vegan, cats and a good almond milk latte is my definition of heaven!

I've been to the café chat l'heureux a few times and I was always left with a bitter sweet taste due to the poor customer service and lack of enforcement of the rules when it came to unsupervised children. But with Venosa, regarding the food, the service, the cats, the clientèle, I have never had any issues and I am always pleased to come back to this café. عرض المزيد

Je suis tombée en amour pour leur cuisine. La sauce à salade a fait chaviré mon cœur sans parler de leur pizza: un pur délice ! Je reviendrai sûrement en matiné...e pour goûter aux viennoiseries et lire un bon livre en compagnie de ces chats adorables qui ne demandent qu'à être adoptés.
Il est vrai que le service est un peu long, mais en même temps, on est là pour se faire du bien et prendre son temps donc ça ne m'a aucunement gênée. عرض المزيد

J'ai toujours été enchanté lors de mes visites au Café Venosa. Il y a toujours de la place et, contrairement au Café Chat L'Heureux, l'endroit n'est pas bondé d...e touristes ou d'enfants. Aussi, j'aime beaucoup le concept du café: les chats (adultes!) que vous croisez sont disponibles à l'adoption. C'est plus rare que des chats adultes soient adoptés et le Café Venosa leur donne davantage de visibilité et de chances de trouver un foyer. Aussi, il y a une assez grande sélection de boissons et la nourriture (entièrement vegan) est bonne. Je craque aussi souvent pour les desserts. Le café réalise également plusieurs événements intéressants et éducatifs. Définitivement un apport positif au quartier et, en général, à la communauté. عرض المزيد

Cafe Venosa has always been wonderful every single time I decided to stop by. Their menu offers you quite the variety of beverages and foods, the coffee is grea...t, their deserts are fantastic and it is a VEGAN, which I absolutely adore. There are quite a few cats at Cafe Venosa but each and every one of them has its own personality, preferences, does and don't. The cafe also gives you a set of rules of does and don't in terms of your interactions with the cats, demonstrating a respect for the animals we get to interact with that I truly appreciate.

Fandango needs a home!
Fandango is an exceptionally gorgeous cat who will sleep next to you and pal around with you throughout the day. He has a big personality... and will make you laugh and love with ease.

An adventurous and comical feline of 7-8 years, Fandango has overcome many hardships in life and has the strange habits to prove it! An avid food-stealer, Fandango must have only been fed from scraps or found his food in garbage bins. It has taken him a while to realize that he can enjoy some food from a bowl but his instinct is to steal any foodstuffs that tickle his fancy from your plate, counters or your hand. Because of this, Fandango must find a home willing to create a good balance of proper nutrition and one that will ween him off his old habits!

Fandango either had to fight for survival or does not wish to share his territory and food with other animals. Although he initially gets along with other animals, his involuntary reflexes move him to fight and chase all challengers; therefore, he would excel and prefer to be an only animal in your home.
