Oct 21, 2017 - Oct 22, 2017California City, CA

As you might have noticed, we've redirected our website to this Facebook page. This was because of hosting issues, and we are diligently working on launching a new site.

In the meantime, the dates for the festival are ALWAYS the third weekend in October. This year that is October 21-22, 2017!

We will have applications posted here after 5PM this evening!

...

Thank you all so much and look forward to seeing everyone in October!

EDIT: The application is getting a revamp, and we are having it looked over by the city's legal department. We hope to have both the vendor and entertainment applications posted by end of week!

Hello friends of the faire,

We have a request. I post it here to see if any of the locals like Mayde in Ireland or Queen's Minstrel Cycle might wish to help:

Hello

...

Ambassador Girl Scout Troop 9022 & SOAR High School Journalism Cub are collaborating to provide quality programming for Girl Scouts. We are reaching out to members of our community that may be willing to spend a few hours with Girl Scouts at our fall workshop on Saturday, November 5th. A significant part of our November 5th workshop is the opportunity for Girl Scouts to interact with a variety of guest speakers - speakers with interesting jobs, backgrounds, experiences, and hobbies.

We ask our guest speakers to meet with small groups of Girl Scouts (usually no more than 10 girls at a time) for 10 to 15 minutes, then we rotate rounds. Girl Scouts are grouped by age so it's easy to have fun with the younger girls and a different conversation with the high school girls.

Our fall workshop benefiting Girl Scouts is:
Saturday November 5th
@ SOAR High School on the AVC Campus @ 30th West & K
speaker rounds are approximately 1pm to 4pm

We are super grateful that you are willing to consider coordinating with our workshop!
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you
