Camacho’s Place is my all time favorite ... Tommy and Rosie have upheld the treasure and tradition that we grew up with. The food is not overdressed in seasoning - you will taste the distinct flavor the cut of their carne asada, the peppers & cilantro in their salsa, the flavors of the meat will only complement the sauces of their chili verde, the avocado is the star in their guacamole ... it is Mexican food at its best - Great to go with family and friends - but if you go alone - just remember, you never eat alone at Camacho’s Place :) See More

My brother and I brought my 89 year old father to reminisce and meet with Tommy and Rosie. We spent several hours catching up on family history and visiting with 2 of best people I’ve had the pleasure... to meet. Thank you Tommy and Rosie for making my dad one very happy camper! You were definitely the highlight of our trip down memory lane. I don’t know which was better, the food or the company. Thank you for being so gracious. See More

LOVE it.. We were on the way back from Algodones and chose not to eat in Algodones but to eat at Camacho's... Food was fabulous.
Indeed lives up to their log. "We're hard to find, but we're worth it"... .. We figured if this place has been around since 1946 they have to be doing something right. See More

The carne asada was great and the special quesadilla was deep fried, which was an unexpected twist on an old favorite. This place is the beyond casual --
the quintessential hole in the wall in the b...est kind of way. The staff was very friendly and super accommodating for my mom who had some unusual requests. We had a great time and I even bought the T shirt xD haha. See More

Grew up there. Haven’t found anything that compares to the special quesadillas since. I find myself craving them, and have made the trip back to EC just for Camacho’s.

A hidden gem. Family owned and operated for 70 years. Hadn't been back for 15 years and it was nice to take a trip down memory lane. Food was excellent, don't expect anything else besides great food a...nd down home meal. Don't be in a hurry and just enjoy a valley institution. #5 is out of this world. See More

I can remember going to Camacho's my entire life. The carne asada burrito is out of this world. It is still our favorite stop for Mexican when we are able to make the trip to California from Georgia.

Not worth the wait...not prepared to serve a group. This was my third time there. All 3 times it was like we were bothering them and it was a chore taking our money for average mexican food....

We visited for the first time today. A-MAZ-ING! Our sister, Carrie Abel, recommended Camacho's Place to us and we are so glad we did. The food was wonderful, the staff friendly. We will definitely... be back! Many thanks to you, Carrie, for sharing your favorite place with us! See More
Our carne asada showcases the love that we put into our food. Rosie hand trims, preps, and marinates every single last piece of quality meat that comes through our kitchen. We never have (and never will) finely chop our asada to hide gristle and fat like the other guys, nor do we hide the flavor behind rice, beans, cheese and everything else the other guys throw in their burritos (but hey, if that’s your thing, we’d be happy to customize your order). What you get is what we’d serve ourselves: high quality meat and pure guacamole wrapped up in a delicious tortilla. And we are pretty darn proud of it. #juanitataughtuswell #acceptnoimitations #since1946

We’re not open today, but can we just say how much we love that today is #nationalrescuedogday? We rescued a scared and extremely malnourished Petunia off the side of Wahl Road several years ago, who later gave birth to Loco, on the right. ❤️🐶🐶❤️ #adoptdontshop
