Well it has been 5 months since we moved locations. We have had to iron out a few things to make sure things run smoothly for everyone. If you say you are picking up at certain time and you are an hour late you may have to wait a few minutes to come unlock the gate. Safety first and if I am bathing a dog I can not leave him unattended. I can not hear the buzzer or answer it if I am grooming. Phone calls will be returned by the end of the next business day. Please leave a message and if I do not return your call it is likely because the message got cut out or I had a blonde moment
Lastly, all dogs must be on leash it is the bylaw. I have stopped allowing dogs full run of my house because of accidents. If you are here early to pick up please take your shoes off and have a seat. No shoes on my carpet please.
Did you know??? Weekends are busy in the summer for everyone especially people with families. I am open 2.evenings a week now and 1 Saturday a month. Hours are flexible now that the salon has moved. When you call please make sure to leave a message. If I am busy with a dog I do not answer the phone so I can keep appointment times on time. I am no longer accepting new nail grinding only clients. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause anyone. Remember gate is locked until j...ust before your appointment to keep the dogs safe in the yard. If you are more then 5 minutes early go for a walk or wait and I will unlock soon. The most important thing for me is that dogs are safe at all times. I sometimes leave a dog loose with mine to play with permission. It would devastate me to come upstairs and find out that someone opened the gate and they are gone. Thank you for understanding. I love the new location and so do the dogs. See you all soon.
As a lot of you know I do a lot of dog sports with Zaria and she plays hard. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a WONDERFUL animal massage therapist by the name of Teresa from Sweet Spot Massage. Not only does she have a way with dogs but she works at their pace. Just like us, dogs need to have us help them keep their bodies in shape. If anyone would like to try her let me know and I will give you her number. And she comes to you.
We are into our second week at the new location. A few things to mention when you come to the new place are ....
1.. if you are early please wait and the gate will be unlocked 5 min before your appointment time. I keep the gate locked when I am grooming as safety is my main concern. I do not want the gate to accidentally not be latched properly and a dog gets loose.
2.. I do not have a large kennel space so dogs are done from start to finish and then they must go home. Satur...days always allow for 3 hours as this is the only day I may have dogs overlapping. If you need you dog done before that I do offer an express groom price. I will never forsake your dogs safety to get him done faster because you have plans.
3... please pick up after your dog if he poops. This is how deceases are passed and again the dogs health and well-being comes first.
4....If you need to leave your pet for the day please make sure that you let me know at the time the appointment is booked. I now offer daycare for those dogs.
5... There is no public restroom sorry.
6... on nice days you are more then welcome to sit out in the yard and read a book or lounge as your dog is groomed.
Thank you everyone in advance for understanding. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment
I am excited to announce we are moving to the Fairway Mall area the end of April. We will be open Monday, Fridays from 8 to 6 and Wednesday and Thursday from 12 to 8 Saturday by Appointment. When you make your appointment I will provide need address and directions. We have downsized the space to be able to provide better service and minimizing the time the dogs are there. Thank you everyone for making Canine Styles successful. With out you all we would not exist. I look forward to seeing everyone at the new salon. Huron Rd will stay open until the move is complete.
So true. Happy Wednesday everyone.
