Got 6 year old little Joey (Yorkie cross) groomed yesterday. The first time we've ever visited Lisa. He's more adorable than I've ever seen him. I didn't even know his coat is so smooth, even, and soft. Awesome grooming! Six stars if I could. Thanks Lisa. We'll be back.

Can't say enough great things about Lisa. We have two little dogs with very different personalities and she is great with both of them. She is flexible with app...ointments and very understanding of busy personal lives. My dogs are always so happy when they get home from their "Handsome Lessons" as my husband calls it. See More

Lisa always makes my Macie look wonderful. Her shop is always clean and welcoming and the environment is much more stress-free than any other groomer I've checked out. I highly recommend Lisa and I wouldn't take my fur baby anywhere else.

If you haven`t heard of Canine Styles or taken your fur baby there for pampering, you`ve been missing out and so has your pet. Lisa is wonderful to deal with and gives the utmost attention to detail...we take all three of our Sheltie`s there and they look amazing after their grooming.

I absolutely love Lisa and so do my three shelties, Spencer, Kacee and Bruyn. Lisa treats my dogs as if they are her own.

Roxy's Story

We are into our second week at the new location. A few things to mention when you come to the new place are ....
1.. if you are early please wait and the gate will be unlocked 5 min before your appointment time. I keep the gate locked when I am grooming as safety is my main concern. I do not want the gate to accidentally not be latched properly and a dog gets loose.
2.. I do not have a large kennel space so dogs are done from start to finish and then they must go home. Satur...days always allow for 3 hours as this is the only day I may have dogs overlapping. If you need you dog done before that I do offer an express groom price. I will never forsake your dogs safety to get him done faster because you have plans.
3... please pick up after your dog if he poops. This is how deceases are passed and again the dogs health and well-being comes first.
4....If you need to leave your pet for the day please make sure that you let me know at the time the appointment is booked. I now offer daycare for those dogs.
5... There is no public restroom sorry.
6... on nice days you are more then welcome to sit out in the yard and read a book or lounge as your dog is groomed.

Thank you everyone in advance for understanding. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment

We are closed for the long weekend and will reopen on Tues :) Have a safe weekend

As a lot of you know I do a lot of dog sports with Zaria and she plays hard. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a WONDERFUL animal massage therapist by the name of Teresa from Sweet Spot Massage. Not only does she have a way with dogs but she works at their pace. Just like us, dogs need to have us help them keep their bodies in shape. If anyone would like to try her let me know and I will give you her number. And she comes to you.

Well construction at the new location is completed so as of Monday April 11th I will no longer be working out of the Huron Location. I will be fully operating at the New location as of April 12th. Thank you and hope to see you all there.

I am excited to announce we are moving to the Fairway Mall area the end of April. We will be open Monday, Fridays from 8 to 6 and Wednesday and Thursday from 12 to 8 Saturday by Appointment. When you make your appointment I will provide need address and directions. We have downsized the space to be able to provide better service and minimizing the time the dogs are there. Thank you everyone for making Canine Styles successful. With out you all we would not exist. I look forward to seeing everyone at the new salon. Huron Rd will stay open until the move is complete.

Due to the pending storm we will be closed tomorrow. However, I have the phone with me and will be answered. We take everyone's safety seriously.

As of March first hours have changed.

MONDAY TO Wednesday 9 TO 4

Due to the looming storm possible tonight into the morning hours we will be closed until noon. I never want anyone's safety in jeopardy on the roads. Thank you everyone and please drive safe if you have to.

So true. Happy Wednesday everyone.

Three beautiful minutes. Do not miss it. Thank you TV2 Denmark for the video.

Share. Spread love. Spread understanding. And remember to put humanity first.

Director: Asger Leth. He thanks everyone for the love.

Going away? Don't like boarding your pet? I will be offering pet sitting this summer. They will come home with me in the evening, to the salon with me during work hours and will come on our daily walks. Also, I will only look after 1 household pet at a time.

Sorry for any inconvenience but I will be out of the salon until Thursday as I have the nasty flu bug that has been going around. Thank you

I will be away from the Salon for the rest of today until Tues for continuing education seminars

Great read

So you didn't crate train your dog

Emergency surgeries and injuries are part of owning a dog. Shit happens. Your vet puts your dog on crate rest and your dog't been crate trained or desensitized to a crate. Now what? Your dog freaks out, causing more injury to itself and becomes very stressed. Stress makes healing time longer. Longer healing time means more time in the crate. It's a vicious cycle.

So you think crates are cruel and punishment

What is more cruel? Having your dog freak out and injure themselves when on crate rest, or have them very relaxed and settled in a crate when it needs to be used?

Crates are necessary at some points. It's best to have your dog relaxed in them prior to when that situation arises.
