This unit doesn't sound right and I have had nothing but issues since installed--it is as LEMON! DO NOT Recommend!!!
re-posting Friday's comments--
At this point if I could I would go back to my 10 seer York that builder put in almost 11 years ago. This past March I had a full replacement and got the Infinity 19vs and so far nothing but trouble. Between mid June and first week in July had 7 service calls. Compressor bad- I requested replacement. Next service call to determine... if would replace I assume told faulty/loose wire don't need new compressor. From that point on unit got quite loud and it is supposed to be a quiet and energy efficient unit. Next service call needed new TXV valve, that was replaced. Next visit due to noise issue as it never changed after TXV valve replaced. Last night (8/11) got home and it was over 80 degrees in my house and the thermostat had an error message that stated 99 high torque lockout. This unit has been nothing but trouble and not confidant in the product or recommending to anyone. Friday morning it decided to work again.

In the summer of 1971, Carrier was awarded the principal air conditioning contract for Chicago's 110-floor Sears Tower, which, when completed, was the tallest building in the world.
Good advice from a Carrier Hall of Fame dealer!
#WednesdayWisdom: Consider using a ceiling fan when your air conditioner is running. The air it circulates will accelerate your body’s natural evaporation rate, making you feel cooler.
