Howdy Y'all. Wanted to share a little Austin, TX news with you! Tomorrow (Saturday) yours truly will be a guest DJ on KUTX Austin 98.9 FM at 6pm. They let me take over the airways and play music by my favorite artists for a full hour - so ...fun!
In other news...my dear friend and Berklee College of Music roommate, Casey Driessen, is coming to town this weekend. He is a force of nature on the fiddle (just look up his YouTube version of Billie Jean) and will be performing a private concert tomorrow night. Here is more info on his show:

Luke Jacobs and I have had quite the adventure on tour out West these past few weeks. Here are some shots from our drives: Oregon Coast, California Redwoods, and the Mojave Desert (which we drove through today).

Spring has sprung! At least it has on the West Coast! Luke Jacobs & I are coming to the end of what we have dubbed the "Polar Vortex Tour of 2014". Luke Jacobs & I have officially arrived in the Pacific Northwest...pine trees, snowy mountains, good coffee, and hoppy beer galore. I saw a bald eagle on our drive to Bellingham from eastern Washington yesterday! Beautiful! We play the Trip...le Door tomorrow night in SEATTLE, then PORTLAND's Mississippi Studios on Monday with special guest Michele Van Kleef. After that we keep heading south: Eugene, Arcata, Sebastopol, and finishing in Berkeley. Looking forward to fitting in a couple of hikes in the Redwoods along the way!
