Carthage has a strong record of Fulbright Fellows. In the last three years, Carthage has been named a top producer of Fulbright Fellows by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs!

No other Wisconsin college or university made the 2017-18 list, as Carthage’s five Fulbrighters qualified it for recognition a third consecutive year.

Carthage names new head football coach, Dustin Hass!

KENOSHA, Wis. – Carthage College Director of Athletics Bob Bonn today announced the promotion of defensive coordinator Dustin Hass to head football coach.

We're thrilled to announce on President's Day that Pulitzer Prize-winning presidential historian Jon Meacham will be our 2018 Commencement speaker!

The presidential historian, who won a Pulitzer for a biography of Andrew Jackson, teaches history at President Swallow’s previous university.

Before it was "the Caf" it was the "Chow Hall," and the place where Scott '57 and Shirley Mae (Burkart) Marriner '55 first shared a meal at the campus in, IL. In an attempt to "co-mingle" the students, a member of the Carthage administration assigned everyone to specific tables.

After this first encounter, Scott spoke with her friends and built up the nerve to ask Shirley Mae to the January 23rd sock hop of 1954 in the gymnasium and they began their #carthagecouples love story.
