Yes, I'm still here! I've had a busy year moving across the Atlantic, settling in, getting married, starting a business: Creatively Designed Websites & Branding and taking pictures: Catherine McManus Photography.

Behind the scenes, I'm still making jewelry and learning new techniques. With the days getting shorter, I'm planning to spend more time setting up the craft side of my little office and putting these new techniques to use! Christmas is fast approaching, and I *am* taking special orders for beaded jewelry. You can message me here or send an email to catarionna@gmail.com.

I'm even training my own elves to help out with Christmas orders! Here's one observing a bead weaving demonstration...

Finally finished this piece! Beaded cuff with drawbench beads (a painted marble effect) and carved gold glass beads. This one took a bit more patience!

Very excited to share with you my first semi-precious stone bracelet! This one features beautiful howlite beads and gold glass beads wrapped with Irish waxed linen thread on a shimmery metallic cord.

Howlite is a white mineral with grey and black veins running through it, and is commonly used for jewelry. It is also thought to have many healing properties that promote insight, patience and for calming an overactive mind.

As I'm packing up my studio, I light these candles given to me by a dear friend a few years ago. A blessing that came with the candles says...

"The dreams of night and the dreams of day fill me with inspiration. I nurture them and know that it is within my power to make them come true".

Lighting these now seems appropriate as I'm about to begin a new chapter in a new land, with much potential to grow creatively as I explore new possibilities with my jewelry and art.

...

I also light these candles for you, with a wish that your own dreams inspire and motivate you to reach your goals
