feeling heartbroken in Alberton, Gauteng.22 November 2016 - Oh Mommy, how I wish the world could just come to a stand still as My Life did the moment you passed away.. Our Lives will never be the same again.. I wish I could turn back time and just hold you again and hear your laugh.. Mommy you were My Rock.. I can not explain the pain now that you are gone.. God couldn't of blessed me with a better Mommy and Granny for Caylum and Charlotte.. How sad that Caylum will now grow up not knowing you mommy.. I am so broken... without you but I thank God that he allowed us to be with you until you passed.. You fought so hard to stay with us mommy but I now know it wasn't meant to be.. How I wish I could just spend 10 more minutes with you.. Charlotte says she will teach Caylum about you mommy and tell him how much you loved us.. You will never be forgotten mommy, not by me or anyone that had the privilege to meet you.. Rest in peace Mommy..

Posted on behalf of the Willemse Family. It is with great sadness that we have to share the passing of Kathleen (Kathy) Van Coppenhagen last night 16/11 surrounded by her loved ones. A Mother, Wife and Grand Mother that will be dearly missed. Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to the family in this very difficult time. feeling positive at Johannesburg Alberton.16 November 2016 - After a lot of talks with Boston about when Caylum can fly, they have finally giving us a new date 27 November 2016!!!
Boston children's hospital says that they do not want Caylum to come earlier as it will be Thanksgiving the week before and a lot of staff will be on leave and it doesn't help to fly him over if he will not be able to do any tests as he waits..
The New Date for his operation is the 3 December 2016!!

Hi guys. Unfortunately the 2nd virus Caylum picked up is affecting his airway and it will not be safe for him to fly with the cabin pressure and as he has gotten antibiotics, he can not be operated on for at least two weeks. The docs have grounded the flight until he is completely better and 100% to fly.
For now we have updated the flights for the 25th November but as you know this might change. Please stick this out with us! We have walked this path so far, so let's see it through together!

feeling blessed at Netcare Clinton Hospital.Wow!! What a day this has been.. Thank you Lord for opening the Doors for Caylum so that he is not at the airport this afternoon.. We truly serve an amazing God, that can move mountains for us.. Now it all makes sense why Caylum couldn't fly.. (Yesterday Caylum was supposed to fly from OR tambo, the storm wrecked havoc at the exact time Caylum was supposed to be at departures)

feeling positive at Netcare Clinton Hospital.9 November 2016 - Morning Everyone, So sorry for the late update.. We have been working hard to get everything changed to the new dates and to make sure everything runs smoothly.. Caylum is doing a lot better today and his infection markers are down to 81!! Dr D says she is very happy with his progress and says that they will be monitoring him closely today and maybe he will be able to go home tomorrow!!! We are under strict instructions to keep him isolated once we get home so that he doesn't pick up any other bacterial infections.. We would like to thank everyone for all the love and support in this stressful time..

feeling emotional at Netcare Clinton Hospital.8 November 2016 - Morning Everyone.. We are very saddened by the news we got today - Caylum will not be able to fly Tomorrow as his infection markers have went up from 111 to 195 and his white blood cell count has also went up, this means that he is fighting a bacterial infection and The Doctor has now put up a Drip with stronger antibiotics.. We are now trying to get flights for Sunday but so far we have been unsuccessful as all the flight are fully booked until Tuesday but I know that God will open up the Doors for Caylum and everything will work out the way God has planned it..

feeling optimistic at Netcare Clinton Hospital.Hi Everyone.. Caylum is feeling a bit better, he is still on oxygen and getting antibiotics but Dr D is hoping that it is only a bacterial infection and with the help of the antibiotics he should be fine by Tomorrow.. We are still waiting for all the other tests to come back but we are praying that he doesn't have a virus as that could delay Caylum's trip to Boston.. Thank you so so much for all the prayers and messages, we really appreciate it so much.. Caylum is also on medication to make sure he doesn't get fever or anything else and he is starting to feel better.. Thank you Lord for protecting Our Son and we trust in you that everything will work out as you have planned it..
