We’re currently seeking nominations for CCHT’s "Person of the Week", in order for a candidate to be selected as the CCHT "Person of the Week" the following five (5) criteria guidelines MUST be met.

1. Submit the candidates First and Last name. (Must be over the age of 18).

2. Submit the city or community where the candidate currently resides (MUST be in Clarke County, MS).

3. Submit a brief summary stating why we should select your candidate of choice as the “Person of the Week”.

4. Submit a photo of the candidate.

5. Submit email of all required information listed above to: cchottopics@gmail.com

Our goal is to recognize Citizens of Clarke County, Mississippi each week, so we're looking for outstanding Citizens across Clarke County who's had a positive impact on you and lives of others and/or who goes above and beyond in their communities and/or job description at all times with little or no recognition. A person who will help others in need without a moments notice.

NOTE - All entries must be submitted via email. Only one email entry per week, per submitter. Entries failing to complete the five criteria guidelines are subject to be disqualified. CCHT "Person of the Week" will be announced each Monday at or before 9:am.

VIDEO RELEASED OF FIRE - STONEWALL - Emergency Responders we’re called to the 200 block of Brooks Ave in Stonewall to the scene of a fully engulfed structure fire. Firefighters from Stonewall, Enterprise, Rolling Creek and Quitman assisted with the firefighting efforts. Paratech EMS was also called to the scene to stand by in case anyone needed medical attention. Clarke County Sheriff Deputies along with Stonewall Police Officers assisted with the scene as well. The home has been considered a total loss however there were no injuries reported from the homeowners or emergency officials. The fire is currently under investigation to determine the cause. CCHT will keep you posted as we get any new developments we ask that you keep the Family in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with the loss of their home and property.
