India's junior railway minister hints at fractured track

ndia’s junior railway minister Manoj Sinha has said that a fracture on the track could have caused the derailment of a passenger train in northern Uttar Pradesh. “Initial evidence would indicate that there was a fracture in the rail track. The Commission of Railway Safety will conduct a thorough investigation,” Sinha said.

Retired teacher invents 'panda paper'

A new invention by a retired teacher has caused a major stir in Zhouzhi County, Shaanxi province.The former school dean created a kind of paper made from panda feces, mulberry bark and kiwifruit tree vines. It took the inventor, Liu Xiaodong, two years and 10 attempts before the paper was a success.

Liu used all his savings to produce the paper. He currently runs a training workshop to teach the craft. Every day, the workshop instructs middle and primary school students as well as enthusiasts, who simply wish to visit and learn. #panda #SeeChina

Guangxi town decorated by sea of flowers
