Chapman Tripp partner Rachel Dunne discusses trends and insights into New Zealand's equity capital markets in 2017 and the year ahead.
More vibrant equity capital markets may be on the horizon for New Zealand – but not this year, Chapman Tripp says.
The firm today released its annual Equity Capital Markets – trends and insights report, which tips 2018 to be a transitional year to healthier capital markets from 2019 and beyond.

We’re proud to announce Chapman Tripp has adopted the “Gender Equitable Engagement and Briefing Policy”, which launches tonight.
This policy is a significant initiative to drive diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, focused on lifting the participation of women in one of the most visible areas of the profession: leading commercial disputes. The policy is supported by the NZLS and NZ Bar Association and can be adopted by any user or provider of legal services including law firms, chambers, in-house teams and individual lawyers. For more details on the policy see here:
Huge congratulations to Chapman Tripp's three newest partners - Hamish Bolland, Lucy Cooper and Tim Sherman.
Their appointment to the partnership is effective as of today.
