I love City Cakes SOOO much especially their lemon raspberry bars, cinnamon rolls, and cheesecake (and I've traveled across the country many times before, tryin...g the best vegan cheesecakes and theirs is right up there with Vegan Treats and Capital City Bakery) but pleeease stop mixing chocolate with the raspberry cheesecakes! I was so bummed recently when I got a slice that had just a dollop of chocolate icing on top (which, mind you, is delicious on its own) but didn't realize it had a chocolate crust and it just changed the whole taste of the cheesecake but in my opinion, not for the better. Other than that, pretty much everything is incredible. Best potato au gratin, barbecue jackfruit sandwich, sausage and potato burrito, etc. So grateful to be living nearby now! عرض المزيد

I had no idea SLC would be such a haven for vegan restaurants. City Cakes was delicious and has friendly staff! I saw the article on their wall about their mac ...and cheese being ranked as one of the top 5 by PETA, so I had to try it. One bite and I was addicted. I tasted my boyfriend's sausage burrito and we also got an assortment of vegan bakery treats to try. Everything was yummy. The peanut butter cookies were absolutely perfect! The open concept of their building makes it fun to watch them hard at work in the bakery. It wasn't too far from our hotel, so before we left town I stopped back in to grab one more cup of mac and cheese. I will definitely go back whenever I am in SLC. عرض المزيد

Stopped in here today while visiting from LA, where we have endless options when it comes to delicious vegan and gluten-free food. I was so pleasantly surprised...! The food was so yummy and the baked goods were amazing! Not to mention the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back before we leave town. This place is just as good as any vegan and GF eatery in LA. Perhaps even better because they have SO MANY gluten-free options. Well done, City Cakes & Cafe! Very delicious cupcakes! Lemon coconut and key lime is dreamy! Only down fall is I wish ALL of their frosting was made without hydrogenated oils!! :/ Their sele...ctions at Whole Foods are made without it though (so I got some from there, and I'm told you can order it that way in advance from CC&C). Love the gluten free options , live in Logan and use to order and have shipped gluten free muffins by the dozen from a bakery in Jackson hole Wyoming it's nice that we found one more local.

Thanks to city cakes for always being our go to for birthday events! The Cupcakes are to die for. They also did our wedding cake, which left people shocked it was vegan. �� if you ever have a sweet tooth craving, this is the place to be. The Cinnamon rolls are my absolute obsession. �

Wow! I had to get some tasty treats to bring to a birthday celebration at work, and was stumped. We have both a vegan coworker and a coworker with celiac dise...ase, and I wanted to get some treats that everyone could enjoy and pick whatever they wanted from the assortment. City Cakes & Cafe to the rescue! Delicious! Amazing! Adorable tasty cupcakes and truly decadent peanut butter chocolate bars and chocolate cookies! I love City Cakes GF products. I had, had bad customer experiences there too many times that I stopped visiting. I finally went back in & was met with 2 new baristas who were so friendly & welcoming! Thank you Julian & Mindy- it's nice to be able to get my Gluten Free City Cakes on again

I have been a loyal customer of City Cakes for years now, eating there about twice a week on average. Their baked goods and soft serve are incredible. I bought ...cupcakes from them to celebrate the conception of my son, and their burgers to serve at my husbands graduation bbq.
However, I am so sad to say, that today was the last day that I will be back. Their customer service is so horrible, lately I leave there either feeling pissed off or genuinely hurt. City Cakes employees if you are reading this: You are driving away customers! I have spoken to the manager and have e-mailed the owner who, "won't take calls." At least my wallet and waist line will enjoy my boycott. It will also be fun to explore the menus of other vegan establishments. عرض المزيد
