The City of Durango is hosting an open house on Wednesday, February 21 from 6:30PM – 8:00PM at the Durango Public Library for community members to learn about and give feedback on the North Main and Camino Del Rio Districts Plan. Over the past year and a half the City conducted a robust public process to learn about the community’s future vision for North Main and Camino Del Rio. Through this public engagement process, the City created a plan that outlines the priorities for ...these districts and implementation tools for achieving the community vision.
The open house is family friendly, and snacks will be provided.

The following is the City’s schedule for the Presidents' Day Holiday on Monday, February 19th:
• City Administrative Offices will be closed including City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Greenmount Cemetery and Parks & Recreation administrative offices.
• The Durango Airport administrative offices will be closed. The airport will be operating normally....
• The Durango Parks and Recreation Center, Chapman Hill, and Durango Gymnastics will all be open with regular hours and scheduled classes.
• The Durango Public Library and all the branches will be closed.
• Residential and Commercial Trash and Recycling routes will be serviced on their normal schedule. The Recycle Center will be closed.
• Get Around Durango Transit and the trolley will run regular schedules on all routes. The Transit Center and the Cashier Window will be closed.
• Parking meters are FREE in the downtown area on major holidays!
